After a specific request I've tried to work on this. (Ver 1.69x of the game.)
Because this isn't RPGM I have no idea what I'm doing, but I noticed that at least some of the text is just openly in txt and csv files.
I've tried to make SLRMTLs for them using these patterns and then isolating just the Japanese:

You may not notice any difference at first, because I still do not know how to get to most of the text, but this does actually translate around 400k characters of text. This game is just really big...

Note: You absolutely need Japanese(Japan) system locale to play this game or it wont work at all, because the text is CP932(Shift-JIS) encoded.
