Yes it's the same ship, because when last game finished the ship sent out an sos signal. At the start of this upcoming game you can see that the police girls are rushing to the sos signal. Hopefully the game will reveal what happened to the previous hunter girl, but as it seems, that blue alien guy probably consumed her, just like he consumed other creatures and tentacles that were on the ship.

Apparently these two animations were updated with bug fixes and the new engine used in the sequel, including a mod folder for ease of translations. I know we already got one translation, but it might be useful to know!

I know the sequel also has a mod folder for translating too.

Just need to replace the respective files in the game installs (the 1.5 files are much smaller because all the movies/voice lines are in a seperate .xp3 file, whereas 1.0 has them all in the one file).

Note that I don't know if these will work with the 1.01 + 1.5 combined version of the game, as I'm not able to test that, but they should work A-OK for the standalone versions.

There are a couple menu elements and the character names that I couldn't for the life of me find out where their strings were stored (couldn't find the variable names in a search of all the data files, could be that they are stored in the executable?).

Also, like I mentioned before, this isn't a complete translation. The voice lines in the animated scenes can have subtitles added to them if someone can help translate the voice lines, let me know if you can help with this!

Lastly, this is my first translation, so let me know if there's anything that I can improve upon/if I'm following the proper forum rules.

So I tried this with the updated versions of 1.0 and 1.5, and they seem to be incompatible now. I wanted to try with my original files but I had already combined them and they didn't seem to work well.

But like I said above, the newest updates include moddable folders for translations, so maybe there's that option. I just have no idea how to mod them myself.

Does anyone know what program to use to edit .ks files?

EDIT: Nevermind, you can just open the files with notepad and use google translate to copy and paste. Edits are very easy, just takes time and clean-up.

Woah, new game animations are smooth af. Total 10/10.

At the end of the game you get the text "an escape pod is missing from the ship" - which means the previous girl managed to escape from the ship. But now the two police girls are kinda trapped... hoping to get a sequal for this one as well.

As for translation, you can translate any text that is a subtitle via Mod folder, but google translate doesn't give 100% accurate translations.

I just realised I have no idea why I'm downloading this. I didn't really need to 'play' the game as I found these other games after someone had uploaded the playthrough on pornhub.

Fat chance of that happening now though after the purge.

I wonder what happened to the first protagonist, hopefully they explained it in the second game or future sequels.
