You're not supposed to complete all of them in one-go.
Do some progression via main quest then come back, you know you'll have to come back when you get it.

Or just complete the Katana lady's quest in the inn from the village, I don't know what your progress is.

, they post news quite frequently, but yes, LeafGeo are working on a new game.
It'll be a horror game with h-scenes called "L. Depth", it won't be super long, they'll move from RPG Maker VX Ace to RPG Maker MV for it, and if nothing goes wrong it'll be released in March.
