When the game becomes finished, if it does, they may release the source code. I vaguely, possibly mistakenly recall mention of it. Once the game becomes too feature filled to expand without exploding it would be nice to see what's next on the table for development from Aika. They just recently did a mod for ditzy dice, which is very much it's own game in terms of design.

Fun fact, Trapquest was partly inspired by a much older game which sadly never got off the ground floor, "bimbo mall battle".
You played as somebody in a twisted game in which people could use resources/spells to transform each other, and there were "varieties" of people going around in this bimbofication battle royale including buff men who could also be transformed, but generally were there mostly to fuck with everybody else.
There were also interact-able map elements to make things interesting, and other features that gave it a certain "mystique". That game definitely contributed some to what at the time was a growing weird fetish to turn men into hyper-feminine bimbo sluts, which then also got me into the more "subtle" relatively speaking, sissification fetishism, more attracted to the "target" than being the target mind you, but I digress.
BMB sadly went abandoned like a decade ago, but it definitely showcased the concept for a weirder more in depth turn based porno-game at the time, outside the stat management style of Corruption of Champions and Slavemaker 3.

It's a bit more complicated than that. The UI got remade form scratch and basically all new versions will be a mix of the Clothing window and some other window. The first window chosen to get the new UI treatment is Danaume.
I was womdering if it was possible to run a poll here to know basically which window is the most popular (could be something like: "what's you favorite window to play trapquest?") between Danaume, Wonderfuller, Keriax and Strateg (Porn got discontinued).

i personally only used danume and wonderfuller, the clothing window not showing body changes and it not really working with a male character just didnt appeal to me as much.
out of the two i did use id say i liked wonderfuller more personally.

I prefer Wonderfuller due to the hair variety and way the cum is rendered but Danaume is just adorable. The new UI is objectively better. Being able to click on individual clothing pieces and body parts is way easier than trying to remember what codename was chosen for each of them is awesome as is easily elling which items your bag is holding vs the ones in your hand. I like the idea behind swapping between nude and clothed views, but the clothed view can have a jarring disconnect. Eg My girly boy's 7 inch pecker clips out his underwear and his corset feels crookend even though it lines up well enough.

I don't like any of them and tend to wait for someone to upload the Clothing version when possible. When I really want to play a newer version but there isn't a Clothing upload, it's a toss up between Wonderfuller and Strateg.
the new builds all include the clothing version now. So far only the Danume + Clothing is available. So going forward, clothing is public and we'll have to wait n see if Aika reups the other visuals with the new builds
