I've tried to unlock the chest for the new Diana page this update, but I've always gotten hit with the spikes, what do I do to get the key to unlock the chest without getting spiked

Have you tried to update your previous game ? Or do you just click on the exe on the update file ?but update only is crashing

No it doesn't break the save as you can still find another container even if you do it in the wrong order.
