Find the Mysterious Key in the area where the Jaguar is with your pickaxe then open the door in the old Spanish Fort in the Lighthouse. There is a profile in there as well.

It's not that we get to do her at the end of the game, it's the pacing. I think her "corruption" could have been handled better in the story. But it is what it is.
