VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Triangle [v1.0] [Neverlucky]

It is a really nice story. Finally something kind and touching. Story would not work in real life but as an adult game fantasy very deatailed and well written. Renders are good. There is no animation in the game but lewd scenes was ok for me this way too. Choices only influence little part events in the story and endings. This game is more about to tell a nice and sexy story.

In this game you are in the shoes of an engaged man living happily with his wife, Sarah. One day a tragedy happens in her family and young Jenny come into your life.

Storyline:
The story is a sweet one, of compassion and love and the way the characters move over hardship and betrayal made my day better. Even so, all those cute moments, sweet interaction is linear: no conflicts, no tough decisions. All those will lead you to a happy end that I appreciate, but not fight for.
Another thing that was off to me was how far the protagonist forgot about his loving and caring wife and fall in love with Jenny: The game is medium as lengh so some steps in the process were erased


Characters:
I love Sarah and her role as a wife is one of the most best so far in the games I played. Her body being sexual but without exaggerated tits made it even better.
For Jenny I appreciated her innocence and childish behavior. As body it was ok but I saw cutter in other games.

The gist of the story is that a girl joins you and your girlfriend's household. She seems to quickly forget her own backstory and falls in love with you in a matter of days.

A clear lack of hardship throughout the story make it, quite frankly, bland. And what does happen comes quickly and easily, meaning you won't feel the intended emotional impact. The writing is middling, it won't charm you but doesn't go into engrish territory either. It's mostly a pure read without choice on the player's part. All in all, it's average.

tl;dr: Excellent kinetic visual novel, though without any depth beyond the relationships between the three characters.

Images are a bit low res and lighting could be better early on, but are otherwise great. The writing is a bit off at times due to an apparent non-English native tongue, but it's never confusing and is interesting overall. I do think some drama outside of the relationships themselves might have added depth, but it's still well worth checking out if the premise interests you.

Minor gripe: All of the apostrophes ( ' ) in the text are replaced by grave accents ( ` ) which I found distracting, but it's hardly a deal-breaker.

What I Like:
1) Renders - Jenny and Sarah are cute and have nice models. Rendering is done alright, though they look slightly blurry sometimes.

What I Don't Like:
1) Choices - Why have them if they don't really influence the plot in any meaningful way? It might as well be a kinetic story.
2) Story - There's hardly any conflict and no suspense whatsoever. It's too one-dimensional and there's no build-up or character growth in any meaningful way.
3) Other characters? Why have them? - There are points where other characters are introduced, but there's no expansion on them. Why even have them at all?
4) No sound or music

TL;DR: It's a very good game that accurately depicts a healthy and believable polyamorous FFM relationship. A must-play if you're not bothered by a few things.

In conclusion, this game will entertain you for many hours as long as you don't mind the negative aspects too much. The flaws are there but the game is very good for people who are interested in a story that revolves around the ideal FFM polyamorous relationship.

Sounds - I feel like this was the only issue I had with the game. I don't think its a big problem though but I think with proper sounds during the right scenes it can drastically improve the game and the experience for the player especially as an adult rated game.

I felt this game was really refreshing because it was really straight forward from start to finish. Usually when I play games I need a walk through to make sure I am getting all the content but when you play through this its so straight forward with no consequences and gives you a really nice experience rather then a stressful one wondering if you missed anything or not.

I think my favorite part about this game is how "complete" it felt. It made me feel there wasn't anything left out the girls were stunning and felt full of character. I loved the actions between Sarah and Jenny more then the action between me and the characters which is usually not for me but this one did it really well.

Play if you want something relaxing without having to dive into files for a walk through! Only one of the reasons to play this one and more!

Fantastic game! One of my top picks. Story that keeps you engaged and welcomes you back time and time again.
Characters are enjoyable and attractive while still being believable. Would highly recommend to anyone.

This game was a nice breath of fresh air. It was a simple vanilla story with a twist. I think visual novels like these get swept under the rug too often because they aren't overly taboo, or have crazy characters.

This game warmed my heart. Both love interests are so beautiful, lovable and they make you feel loved and desired at the same time. The story is nothing complicated but I didn't mind that. It's a feel good game with a lot of hot sex scenes. Although there are no animations, I didn't feel the need for them because the images are well done and the sex scenarios themselves are really creative
I'm definitely subjective because I liked the characters so much but this game is in my top 3 and I would like to see it on Steam.

I like the happy ending, and the fact that it has a good story. I just wished for it to have some more choises. The scenario is somewhat realistic and the fact that it is not an incest is a plus.
The girls are looking really good.

Holy shit was this good. There was some real depth to the characters in this VN alongside a reasonable plot and high quality writing style. The artwork was great.

The mix of an older and younger woman definitely spiced this up. I was pretty interested to see where things would go with Sarah and Jenny together in the same house.

It's a nice game but it's just that. None of the choices matter much besides 1 specifically and the choices are few and far between.

Most visual novels I have played are often more ambitious (massive plot twist, etc.) which leads to a hit or miss type of game. This one is very safe and it is a very feel good type of game. It's fully complete so there is no wanting more once you're finished (for me anyways).

In my opinion, the game falls short by having you start the game in a relationship, for me, the 2 love interests are pretty boring characters. They're sweet but I don't really care much for the story. Was quite dull towards the end for me. I would have prefered not start the game in a long term relationship. For some people, I imagine that is nice and relaxing for the aforementioned reasons but it didn't really interest me.

Definitely recommend giving this game a go but don't go into it expecting anything groundbreaking. It is a very average story and art/renders.

Well, what can I say about Triangle ... it's neither the game with the best story telling nor the game with the best renders I've played so, but it is a nice little game and what it does it does really well. I haven't explored all the choices we have here, but I suspect that they won't change too much of the outcome in the end, which isn't a bad thing here in my opinion, since both love interests in this game are really lovely and at least for me it would leave a sour taste for me if I had to leave one of them sad and miserable.
Another positive thing I can add here is the MC who is neither a wimp nor a macho and the pace of the dialogue fits the game and the characters.
One last thing that feels a bit weird and I almost can't believe that I say that, but in my opinion there is a bit too much sex or at least a bit too much standard sex in the way that the days always feel the same.

and this happens pretty much every day. It's far from really being a negative thing, just something that I noticed.

All in all I can recommand this game for everyone who wants to have a good time with a nice little story and loveable characters.

This game is short exploration of a threeway relationship. The writing isn't great and the lack of choices bothered me, but there isn't a lot otherwise wrong with this title. I'd rate my own enjoyment a 3/5, but I think most would enjoy it more than that.

The game offers plenty of fun and exploring the dynamics of how this triangle between MC, his wife and their new girlfriend pans out. At the same time it feels very much like a game where the story is dictated to you and you can't make any big choices and are only offered illusionary choices.
This to me feels a little bit cheap, not because I necessarily don't like games like that at all, more so because, the game at the start feels like, it wants to give you choices - and that just creates a confusing situation wherein it gets frustrating to not be given any agency in how the story progresses in the end.
The renders look really good and both of the girls are really pretty, the character model of the MC would need some work and doesn't look nearly as good, but it's a forgivable offense in my book.
All in all, I've enjoyed the story and the characters for what they are, it is definitely not one of the best games here, but it's one worth trying out if you like the themes it handles and Ren'py-style story-telling/action.

Great writing, good avoidance of tropes often found in these games. The progression felt just right - enough to be believable with the normal dose of suspension of disbelief required for these games, while not being so fast as to obliterate it.

i swear to god i think the developer knows me. The Game is Absolutely fucking lovely and the Male protagonist is totally me. like i swear i think the dev knows me. and not only that but they got my favorite movie in the game.
Titanic...hahaha love this game, hope dev makes more games like this cause i kinda hate games where you got that one annoying azzhole you cant wait til the game kills him off or he leaves for good.
