It's GoFile, the files itself are clean. For some reason they trigger some AV's because reasons. Has happened with other games. Mega links on the blog or discord.

I am getting the error below after the transition from 0.30 to 0.31. Initially, I downloaded the 0.31 update, NotShaddy mod and the 0.31.1 patch. After getting the error, I downloaded the full PC release for 0.31, and applied the patch and mod. I did try going back to a save from 0.29 as well, but I am still getting the error at the transition into 0.31.

The save is the problem, not the files. Try a save that was done at the start of 0.30.0 if possible.

EDIT: In additionally, you can ignore that. Then go to the debug screen to check are the variables to your liking.

If the SHA256 matches the file is clean and you are getting a false positive

The 0.31.1 patch seems to be HTML, not program code... unclear how to patch or if all download websites are displaying it wrong.

Damn, apparently i missed the newest scene. Shaddy's mod shows me i haven't managed to open the one after Gralla's scene. Had to use the mod to see if there was even a scene this update, whose scene did i miss? Thought i was on everyone's route with just the dialogue wheel hints, it hadn't failed me before this one.

On the latest update.... Just a couple text things
I got confused when thomas is talking to Uche.
Right after Uche says "Did I say Sploky? I meant absolutely terrifying." the next line is
Thomas "What's with you and Ghosts?"
Then the next image shows Uche pointing at him and Thomas Repeats the exact same line
Thomas "What's with you and Ghosts?"
?? did Uche say that? Was that a Duplicate?? Then Uche asks if it was a rhetorical question.

The second was in the scene where Miki is introducing Isamu and Kokoro to Thomas

Isamu "Why don't you tie me up and throw at the wolves whist you are at it."

~~Afraid it's only the HTML file, no zip file was included with it. Tried downloading to Chrome, Firefox & Edge and all had same result, just the HTML code.~~

It's working now, so may have been a problem with Gofile site. Thanks Talothral!

Small typo report: Double MC line, when it should be MC, then Uche in this exchange. That is assuming the speaker is the one pointing the finger in the shot.

*Edit: Also there is a missing word or misused word in this line shortly after:

It would make somewhat logical sense if who was replaced with "ones". As in "They aren't the ones I was expecting."
