i mean hp hes not wrong.. its just annoying for the more active / longer active members to get that same critic so often so i do understand your reaction.

Talothral , If I may, I thoroughly checked for the variable. Yes when Maevra asks what you should do with the soul stones (ver 5) that is the last time you can change it and that is what I was pointing out earlier. As I said, it is only the 2nd opportunity to make it 'False' and it is the one that, as I suggested, is not clear what we're dealing with/talking about. And I missed it. (and think others will too)
After that exchange, the Gladeling's Fate is set and cannot be changed. It is checked again in U_22, U_23, U_28, and U_29 for getting onto the Gladeling village path/scenes which is why I missed them and I now have to go back and repeat the whole story. Ok there are worse punishments . . .but it is upsetting to find that what you intended to do didn't actually happen so much later in the story.
On the symbols, I assumed the 'lighter' one was the 'good' and the 'redder' one the 'meaner/darker' one? I don't think there is a symbol explanation in 'help' or 'preferences' is there?

This is more of a symptom of trying to make choices that matter. We are talking a VN here and VN made with ren'py. If there is a consequence of a choice immediately, it is just a rollback away which kind of makes the choice meaningless. Of course you could disable the rollback, but it's ren'py. Even my grandmothers could reenable it if they would want to... and both of them have been dead for over a decade. And on top of that, immediate consequences might not fit narratively either. So your only real option is to sprinkle them throughout the game so it isn't just a rollback or quick load away. At times, the consequences might not be pleasant, but that's why there is always an option to reply when the thing is done.
However, that being said, I'll see if I can make the markings/meaning clearer. Might not happen anytime soon, but it is on the list™ of things to check at some point.
Yeah that's how it usually is, like 99% of the time. The 1% is usually because one choice might affect two things, might be positive towards someone and negative towards someone else and haven't figured out yet to make a decent symbol for that, either that or got the symbols mixed up until someone mentions about it. Have I mentioned I suck at most graphical things? I can get things done, but yeah... Anyway, it's also on the list™.
EDIT: There is some explanations in the Help section, not all as it was done in the early versions and things got added since then.

You're assuming that there is some sort of quest from Tal to reach some kind of equilibrium between story and your definition of what a sex scene should be. the answer is already in his words. "porn game" not visual novel hes looking for sex with a story ,not a story with some sex

Don't get me wrong, I like a good sex romp, just fuck 'em all mindless VN on occasion but Tal's game aren't even remotely close to being that kind of VN's.

As soon as I go into 26 it changes to false instead of remaining True in escorting the emperor relatives.
Yeah, I know where the issue is, or was. It's fixed. Nice questionnaire at the start of 31, maybe double if playing unpatched 30... >.>

Hello all!
And good Friday to all of you.
So what's up? Technically, I'm nowhere near where I would want with rendering. But that's given, not really panicking about it since I did start the scene I wanted to do today.
Writing... ehhh... it could be better and it could be worse. Need to scramble a bit with it, but slightly pain because everyone wants to call or come to visit. I need an alligator pit or something in front of my door at this rate. But it will get done, since I know what I need to write.
So couple previews since I'm in a mood for them. First up... catching with a Uche. And potentially guiding him towards happy life. It was supposed to happen couple of update ago, but our dear protagonist got distracted with things.
Then arrival of the Emperor's relatives... This is the biggest reason why they aren't on their way to the dwarven adventure yet. They aren't main characters, they will be part of the towers life now and then, but there isn't focus on these two. Also of note, the woman's tails was supposed to have a white tip. However the shader to make them lighter wasn't really working properly on it thus fully black tails I'm afraid. Although, I did try to give it slight silver tint, which has worked... okayish? But in the end, I'm happy with them.
And that's it for today, I had something else planned but that took a bit too long to finish, but something for Monday when I do want to avoid spoilers. Probably... Anyway. Have a great weekend you all!
