Vampires were always the Empires problem, either you give them the knowledge they need to deal with them, or you don't, they either survive or fall. Alignment is two years away, slightly less actually, but to deal with that would need a hefty time skip and whatever that would bring. The only active war is the civil war in the desert, and that is something that won't be resolved in a decade. Those are there to set up the future... and how pissed off or pleased certain factions will be then. It's all in the big plan™.

Well, to a point anyway. The alignment itself lasts only about a year, but the effects of it will be felt until the veil between life and death has strengthened back to normal. Which takes about a century or so. And the world is a large place, it only needs to take some idiot to do something stupid on the other side of the world, and you are knee-deep in excrement. And that's not accounting the demonic cults trying to harvest all the possible souls to feed their "gods" when the veil is thinnest...

Hello all!

Friday, and you know what that means! Yes! A progress post!

... Well, that was cheerful. Anyway, so what’s up? Rendering of the epilogue is underway. Shocking news there. And I’m exactly where I want to be with it, for now. But have to see how it goes, not really complex scenes yet to render, but still some challenge ahead. And I do have relatively spoiler free image that I can show.

Then, writing. I’m finishing up the update 2. The first two updates are somewhat packed, as I will open a few plot lines, all of them sort of intertwined, but at the same time tehy are separate, so they are followed at different pace. You do A plotline with side of B while plot C is waiting... Sounds more complicated than it is, but it’s fairly standard in how I write. But yeah, I’m happy with things.

And this is the least spoilerish image I could muster for now. Yeah, new faces, don’t worry, you don’t need to know them. They are there just so I can provide some information about what your choices affected relatively easily. Of course, all of this assumes you got out of the ending in one piece... There is a scene for that as well, though.

Then, testing of sorts. This is a kitbashed environment, not as heavy as I thought it would be. It’s a workable environment overall, needs some tweaks and proper checking from multiple camera angles, but yeah it works. Anyway, short break then rendering something interesting... You all have a great weekend. It's a bit dark image, but that's why there is a bigger version attached.

Quick question is it wrong that when I first saw this EbonyandIvory.jpg sequence.
I could suddenly hear Ebony and Ivory by Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder running around my head.
And now have a whole new take on that song?.
Just Wondering.
