It's the same, just fog, lights, and various other effects used in different ways...
Yeah it looked cool as fuck seeing Tomas walk (at the start of the update) for example,most of the time it was "still pics" ,but this update there were more "moving pics" ?

That would depend on the scene. The majority of the images are of people talking somewhere, which doesn't really need much movement except for heads, arms, and expression changes. Combat updates require a lot more movement, but tend to be more annoying to make, especially when there needs to be an interaction between two or more figures wielding weapons. Pure hand to hand combat, with a knife at max is easy. Melee weapons? Rapiers and two-handed swords are easy to a point, the rest? Yeah...

I'm not complaining cuz i guess it would take a lot of time for making "cosmetics",i like your games and your style of storytelling.It was just refreshing to see MC "walk" out of the blue,it just fit the scene.

Didn't take it as so don't worry. Overall, it's more of a question do those "cosmetic" things add anything to the scene? Generally, the answer is no, not really. At the start of 0.51.0, it was building a scene, so it makes sense to add the walk away and then fade to black.

As what comes after? No idea. I'll think that when it is time.

Sadowdark I started with Sorcerer so i'm jumping to see Sorcerer 2,but his Sentinel 1+2 are cool too,just try them,ok Sentinel 1 you can clearly see it was Tal's starting point,but he improved alot after this ;)

I played Sorcerer 1 and it was a great game:love:, I also played Sentinel 1 and it was pretty average, and I haven't managed to finish the second one yet.

Would be cool to see Sentinel 3 maybe with MC's son as the new MC cuz not gonna lie,Gerrit was cool as fuck,but overpowered (not complaining,cuz i love OP MC's (i love korean manhwas with op mc for example))
Would be nice to see Tomas taking action in ToaM 2 too...

just normal man understanding his limits, without new joker for each event will be much better

Sentinel 2 is cool as fuck! In my opionon it's between Sorcerer and ToaM ;)
I don't really like sci-fi games but Tal's games changed my mind,i even played games like City of broken dreamers and Tales from the unending void cuz of this :cautious:

Hello all!

Wow, okay, so... the weekend was pain. Such a simple scene required the entire weekend. Still, it’s about where I should be realistically. I just hope things will be easier going forward, but I doubt it... 26 scenes left to render, will less since I’m doing one scene as we speak, so 25? There are 41 scenes in total (including variants) if I counted right. So, the progress is steady. I’ve been doing coding while I render and probably start doing post work on the renders already done as well.

Writing? Writing is where it needs to be. I wanted to be further, but the posing issues ate some time. Still not complaining, I should be able to write some more tonight once I start to... dabble with the "animations"... of sorts.

And a preview! One of the few safe for public posts. Ayaka, I like her. Granted, I’m biased there. She grew a lot as a character from what she started. Snotty noble, to a more sensible person. It is a bit bittersweet to end a story, but if there weren’t an end to a story, there wouldn’t be new stories told.

Right. Location... location... location... Urban environments are both a blessing and a curse. You can have action or fight scenes on the streets, and it can easily give some variation to the scenery. But at the same time, most supernatural beings aren’t stupid. If they get exposed, everyone will come to hunt them, thus their survival chances are reduced. So, on top of streets and whatnot, you are going to need "isolated" locations. Warehouses, factories, abandoned places, sewers, thinks like that, where you can stage those action sequences. And that means a lot of testing what works and what doesn’t work. There is an issue or two with this environment, but nothing I can’t fix easily. So it’s in the maybe pile. And Graves and Cross? Yes, well, I did say ages ago that there are people within various governmental organizations that know the "truth". Graves and Cross happens to be two of those people, which is why they aren’t too shocked if evidence goes up in flames. They know that it might turn unhealthy for them... Right a short break, then back to rendering.

Minor bug in the bad choice taking the crystal, the dialogue is inverted if you destroy the mask or not

Not sure where you'd come to that conclusion. Just because someone isn't rendering for their new game doesn't mean they only have one computer for rendering. They might, but it could just as easily be that they want all focus in rendering to be on the current game.

Talothral has successfully completed several games at this point. If the process being used works well, there's no need to change it. It is, obviously, amazing that you've volunteered to buy Talothral a new rendering PC for Christmas, though. You're such a generous person! (y):sneaky:

maybe he thinks Tal's pc is like a lenovo laptop,lol...
I saw some specs from dev's here at F95,some use AMD powerhouses like Ryzen Threadripper + dual 4090*s or quad nvidias...
Some use a laptop with integrated graphics,who cares?
Tal delivers his updates on spot,3 weeks cycle is insane compared to other devs who need 6-12 months for an update...
