I'm sure the MC will get back his confidence in the end. But then it will be revealed that it was just Deb who shoved her arm inside the MC's ass and used ventriloquism to put words in his mouth. And hence she shall be known as the Puppeteer, the most evil super villain of all.
I'm fairly convinced at this point in the story that Deb is the real villain. Not because most of us don't like her, but the way she undermines the MC at every turn, and also made sure he never re-connected with his wife and daughter. I wouldn't be surprised the whole "daddy doesn't care about us, and is with another woman" came directly from Deb's mouth, to Marie...to drive what Deb thought would be the final nail in the coffin to have them all to herself.
I just don't get the attraction everyone in the game seems to have for Deb, I really wish a different (much hotter) model was used for her character, at least it would be a lot more fun to watch.
You got it all wrong. She wins everyone over with her lovely personality! All she has to do is grope someone, who never gave her any reasons to believe not only that she's into her, but into women in general, and she instantly "turns" bi and following Deb like a lapdog... You know, exactly what happened with Jules, when Deb started groping her from day one (because that's what a normal person does, and if she was a guy she definitely wouldn't be in prison...) and now is her sidebitch. Of course we've already established that every woman in the game is bisexual and can't resist Deb.
I'm actually quite sure that Deb as currently depicted by dev is so fundamentally damaged psychologically, mentally and even physically (by molestation in childhood) that were this actually a thriller novel - she could be manic enough to try and keep justifying keeping MC for herself by any means necessary including seducing and manipulating all women around MC.
It is however not - it's a lewd game, and although I would love the twist, I really think this is not the case
It would honestly make more sense than her acually caring about the MC.
So far her interactions with other women around him were:
- Deb fucking the MC's wife
- Deb sending a picture of her lying naked in bed with the MC's daughter groping her, right after he asked her not to mess with her.
- Deb sending the MC a text to check a camera feed of her fucking the only other woman in the house, who's been flirting with him.
- Deb acting like a bitch to the stewardess who made the mistake to act polite to the MC.
- Astrid saying how Deb insulted/yelled at her or something like that, I don't remember exactly.
I read some people saying that she's acting like a wingman... The point of the wingman is to get the other person laid, not to fuck everyone himself. The only time Deb did something like that was when she talked about a threesome and since she ended up banging Julia herself (and once again taunting the MC with the video feed) it was more about her wanting a threesome and not to get the MC laid.
It's a lewd game where the main character gets side girls you've barely seen and a NPC already banged his wife and one of the main girls he was flirting with... And the dev wonders why a certain tag is up there...

It could be too that the Dev got tunnel vision mid way through the story, and went a little overboard with his obvious fetish for lesbians. Just forgot he was writing a story about the MC re-connecting with his daughter, and solving his ex-wifes murder. It's all about Deb building her harem now, the whole premise of the story has fallen wayside.

Or he wanted to make a game with Deb as the main character but since porn VNs with a female protag are usually less popular than ones with a male protag so he tossed him in as an afterthought.

Well i just finished the last update and my opinion didnt change for the better . Just do the favor and change to Female protagonist and put Female domination since he is worst than a lost puppy with her. I will still try one last update before puting it in the ignore but will be hard to change what i think of the game. My opinion on deb just got worse, the "MC" still may not be there to the story continue since he is a side char. And what the others chars see in deb? She just comes in the scene, talk shit, grope them out of the blue, they dont mind and bam lets go to fuck. Every time we have the "option" to tell her to back off she does the opposite, keeps undermining the "MC", he follows her like a lost puppy, well she is a cunt. The only nice thing right now in the game is Astrid and Kumiko untill One scene in the future where deb share a scene with them in the funeral or at some placed weird with nothing sexual suggesting, start talking shit and swearing then grope them and lets go fuck and send the video to "MC". Just curios on how more weird and fucked ways Will this game and story turn. In the refusing Kumiko gift choice its weird as f the change in personality, but if we ignore that weird change and see it as one more of the Dev weird thinking about personalitys, still enjoy Kumiko alot atlest that is good in the game untill She gets fucked by deb, already was hinted that she may be bi since she said that sometimes look more time than she should when changing near Milly.

The NTR must be in reference to Abigale, nobody else in the story is really a love interest as far as I can tell. They’re all a part of or about to be part of Debs harem. I’ll lose interest real fast if the story continues to be a shit on the MC fest.

I have started playing this recently, and since I saw that the sister had a certain ntr air, I investigated in this forum. Apparently the harem tag is not for the MC, is for the sister, Deb. A game with a male protagonist who really stays in the background and who handles sexual situations is the sister? I'm out. I may come back in a year, if I remember this game of course, to read the comments and see if something has changed or indeed Deb is the dominant element. If by then Deb is the one with the harem, I just won't download the game and forget about it altogether.
So basically everyone in the MC family is shit the mom, the wife or ex, and the sister they're all scum. The daughter is fucked mentally. The MC despite his background is a pussy. He's a side character in his own game. The women are out of character and are truly dumb imo. Choices truly don't feel important because you still 9/10 get forced to sit through something you didn't choose to see. This game mines well get a rework with the sister as the main character, the description changed, and tags updated.

Apparently the Dev reads these forums according to some posters, kinda funny he's not defending his decision to have the MC take a backseat in his own game. At least try defending your decision to write the story in such a fashion.
Can a moderator at least contact this Dev and tell him to update the description and tags for his game? It's misleading...it may not be our place to tell the Dev how to write their own story, but I think we all can agree that the description and tags are misleading as hell, feels like a bait and switch scheme.
