I think after the release of the v0.01a I did state that Deb would be a character people love to hate. This is my first attempt at creating a VN and I've loved every minute of it so far. From writing the story, creating the renders, putting it all together and working out bits of code.

A big part of my enjoyment is also reading the readers comment and speculations for the future. I like them all, whether they are positive or not so positive. I thank everyone for taking their time to write their thoughts.

I have yet to play this update, but i really don't see what you guys are saying, i come to this games seeing it as a game first and second, and porn third, i do have games that are a guilty pleasures i'll not deny that, and i do resent Deb for how things have gone, but i really don't get why so much hate, Deb is not preventing the Mc from fucking people, hell she is encoraging him to persue his own daughter and the maid, as we have discussed she has an advantage, and there is a reason for that, this story is obviouslly not about the Mc getting his dick wet quick, if the content bothers you for all means ask for a "skip" option, but otherwise this is just plain dumb, the story makes internal sense in its universe and the objective of the game is pretty clear, and again Deb is trying to get the Mc's dick wet, more so then he is, but that is how the character are writen.

That's the problem though the MC is written as pathetic loser and a complete moron and is completely pointless to the story and we don't have a choice in anything. You can tell Deb to back off but it does nothing and she does what she wants anyway she encourages you to pursue your daughter and you don't have the choice to tell her you aren't interested in banging your daughter and want to be a good dad to her. Deb has everything and the MC continues to be a pathetic loser that does nothing about it

That is fair enough and if you have fun making your game, so much the better. You succeeded very well at making Deb hated with good reason and I do hope you will allow us to choke her to death before the end of the game or betray her back at least as painful as she did MC and Milly without a game over.

Okay, so you should be asking for more choices, and I'll let you in about some of the game variables, there is one for Deb's behavior, now if you think that she will completely change her behavior before a threshold, then that is just ridiculous for two reasons, the Mc is equal to Deb or at least that is how they behaved to each other from the begging, and every time the Mc tries to dominate her she shows that she won't allow it, so yeah that will take time, now about the Mc again there are many choices about how the Mc will behave, although I'll agree that he throws more tantrums than I would like.

Deb has betrayed both MC and Milly for her own interests, yes also Milly. (Her emotional and mental problems stems from the fact she thought she was betrayed by her father and neither her mother or her aunt that so called loved her felt any need to help lighten her pain and allowed her to deteriorate even further, now you may call that love I call that abuse willingly and knowingly) She did the same to her brother, the so called love of her life that she would never lie to. So why should the fact she might help me get my dick wet ever make me like her or even forgive her after that? Now you know why I dislike Deb.

The other thing is exactly the nature of our complaint, she has been given everything too easily by design and more or less taken over as MC while she should be an NPC. I hate that design with male NPC's but also with female NPC's.

I see your point, and I'm also not agreeable to Deb at the moment because of it, but I personally have a two strikes rule, and so far my character knows of one, so I'm giving her a second chance, not to say that the character doesn't piss me off at times.

I can understand the hate for that design, hell I'm the same with childish/teen-pervy and asshole Mc's, but as I said it makes sense in-game, if it didn't I would be agreeing with you guys and posting about it, but since it does I tend to do the opposite either way you have made your point, and as long as people don't demand that the dev change the character or story I'll not say anything else on the matter.

Edit: Also I'll agree that I prefer to be the one deciding what the MC is okay with and interested in, sexually or otherwise.

The point of having a character "you love to hate" as you put it, is to be able to put them in their place and feel some kind of satisfaction. So far you can "scold" Deb a few times, but she always gets what she wants and the MC ends up being ok with everything she does. For instance, what's the point of telling Deb not to mess with Milly, if the next thing she does is getting herself naked in her bed, just to fuck with the MC and even taunting him with pictures? To make Deb even more unlikeable? It that even a possibility? What's the point of having Julia flirt with the MC and vice-verca, if Deb's gonna get her no matter what? What's the point of being able to act assertive, if she's gonna ignore you in the end? To show that the MC is her bitch? She started as someone "you love to hate", but right now she's the main antagonist and she's winning in every single race... So, are we doomed to play as the loser of this story?

I think that's where you're wrong. People don't love to hate Deb, they just simply hate Deb, and not without a good reason. Goeffry from GoT is the perfect example of a love to hate character, Deb is nothing like him. I liked her at the very beginning, but as the story progressed more, that like turned into less and less. Your way to write the main character a retarded spineless pussy ass bitch adds to this big time.

As it your first VN, I'll give a little advice, no one likes to PLAY a main character that is nothing but a spectator in it's own story. You give a choice to tell her to back off, she doesn't (that's fine), but then there's no way to rightfully snap at her because of that, and because of plot reasons, MC just rolls along with it. That's pretty much the worst thing you can do.

I wasn't expecting Deb to change straight away but the MC is ex-military he should already be more assertive even if Deb doesn't listen to him but he isn't he just passively goes along with everything.

This especially annoys me when he tells her to stay away from Milly she doesn't listen and continues to go after her and the MC does nothing about it she is his daughter he should be more protective of her even if she hates him.

There might be choices about how the MC behaves but it has no effect on the story and even if it did we would still be stuck playing a game about Deb and her harem where her brother just passively follows them around. Though to be honest the way the MC is it's not surprising no one gives a shit about him because he is so pathetic.

Deb had just argued with MC and was annoyed. Deb did then state she always slept naked to Milly and that she would leave if Milly felt uncomfortable, perhaps I could have put an option in there for that to happen, but I never thought about it until now. Deb had intended to sneak into MC's room later that night but Milly's fondling prevented that. She was frustrated and took a photo annoy the MC, sort of payback for their argument.

Yeah but you forgot that that should seriously annoy MC as well and he should have reacted to that. It is again all about Deb and her feelings and MC just has to be fine with it, even if he has good reason not to and might have been just as annoyed with Deb after that argument before instead of just roll over like a doormat and be ok with it. Deb is not only one that has feelings.
