I'm old enough to have seen TNG when it was first aired but didn't care about Star Trek at the time (and as far as I remember it wasn't aired in my country in the 90s, at least on a non-pay channel). So at the end of last year I was browsing Netflix, and suddenly remembered about Quantum Leap, wondered if I would enjoy it in 2019, but it's not available on Netflix. Instead, the algorythm show me ST Enterprise, with the same actor, I thought why not give a chance to Star Trek now that Star Wars has been shit for a long time now. So I watched it, thought it was pretty ok but not great, like Sliders or SG-1. Then I tried Voyager, was annoyed by Janeway's voice and didn't push further. That's when I watched all of TNG, and enjoyed it very much. All this to say that the show is still fresh in my mind, and thanks to this I really enjoyed this game, which is old and simple but well structured.

I have to wonder what we could do to update or make a similar game using today's Deepfakes technology, especially considering the quite large amount of Star Trek porn parodies available, and also because the problem of objects (in this case cocks) obscuring faces seems to be dealt with technically (or almost) even if I didn't completely understand it yet. But I will be working on it.

PS : any trekkies who want to advise on what should I give a second chance to : Voyager, DS9, the new one (saw part of season 1, was meh) or maybe good Star Trek movies (preferably with the TNG crew) never seen one besides the 1st JJ Abrams one, which I didn't care for. I also tried the original series : love the sets, love the girls and their outfits, some stories are good, but rythm is so damn sloooow.

The first couple of DS9 seasons are a bit boring but the last 3 or 4 seasons are gold. Voyager is "you can take it or leave it". There are some good episodes but if you are not a fan or if you didnt like what you already saw, you might not like it. It gets more fun after the meet the Borg. ST Disco first season is catastrophic second is "good", but if you are not aware of the lore some stuff may not be as impact full. Best TNG movie is First Contact, doesn't matter if you like star trek or not, it is good. However I would also suggest 2,4,6 movies from the original serious. Also I hate the new Kelvin Timeline movies, but the last one (Beyond) was surprisingly good for a star trek fan. You might want to drink poison instead of watching the first two though.

Why choose when it comes to second chance? Do a "space-time anomaly" storyline and you can throw in characters from all series: TNG, DS9, Voyager, even Enterprise.

Here is a scenario:
You're the main villain who creates "space-time anomaly", capture all females from different series and then try to corrupt them all by any means necessary before they escape. If you do, they permanently stay in your harem. You can pit them against each other using blackmail, or just impede them in their escape effort. Anyway, Troi's Disgrace
was good game, but you could make it much better - rather than corrupting one character, you could run simulation with several, each character with her own different stats.
I'm no programmer myself, but when it comes to ideas, there are many posibilities. Also there is huge quantity of Star Trek fakes online, so with little editing there won't be any unachievable scenario scene.

Beyond was the first of the new Star Trek movies that actually kind of felt like Star Trek. Unsurprisingly it was also the first one that wasn't written by Orci and Kurtzman. Simon Pegg clearly has more respect for the franchise than those hacks.

Of course I'll accept the chance to corrupt my angel of the night.

I'm insulted that you'd compare Sliders and SG-1 to Enterprise. Enterprise is the second worst of the Trek series, beat only by the more recent prequel STD. Sliders and SG-1 are far superior shows to that, even if they're still mediocre compared to TNG. But if you're considering giving a Trek series a second chance I'd recommend Voyager. DS9 gets weirder as it goes and you'll probably grow to dislike Sisko. Although Quark was always the best part of that series, so maybe you didn't like Sisko from the start. The original series is very hit or miss. The good episodes are fantastic, but the bad will have you bored out of your mind. Voyager has a weak start and bogs down with a lot of annoying time travel plots in the middle, but picks up towards the end. And 7 of 9 is the hottest woman of any Trek series, so you'll have some new r34 to look up.

I disagree with pretty much all of your takes. Enterprise was pretty consistently "alright" while Voyager had so many episodes that were just a chore to get through, also the "annoying time travel plots" were some of the only Voyager episodes I actually liked. And DS9 didn't get "weirder," it got better.

You enjoyed the time travel plots? Even the one where Lt. Kim married and impregnated the 3 year old daughter of Tom Paris while Kess jumped backwards through time?

Well, all the later stuff with Kes was pretty retarded, so maybe not that part. But like that episode where Seven jumps through time to catch that insane Temporal Agent whatever who blows up the Voyager, or Year of Hell or the one where the Voyager splinters into different timelines on different decks, etc etc, Voyager had a lot of fun time travel plots.

Or the one with Harry from the future who is trying to keep the Voyager from being destroyed by crashing into that ice planet. Or the one where the doctor is on some alien planet in the future as a piece in a museum. Jesus, Voyager did a lot of time related plots, but I liked most of them.

The Year of Hell just felt pointless to me since all they really did was reset everything. And every time that captain attacked Voyager it was prompted by a paradox making it seem pretty retarded to me. The Doctor being in that future museum was definitely a fantastic episode though. Thanks for reminding me about that one.

Would be good to have some Tasha Yar action. Her taking Worf up the ass would make this old trekker happy. Maybe Riker fisting Dr. Crusher...the whole bridge crew pulling a train on Wesley...

I think there was a credit screen at the end of the game but maybe I'm making that up.
You'll just have to finish it and find out I guess.
