Hell, personally I prefer the way OoT handles it's main girls than Tropicali so far, but that's mainly due to the main characters being different in personality.

CJ, the protag for Out of Touch, is a lot more personable with all the girls in his harem, basically all of them are childhood friends, and jealousy isn't too much of an issue-

Fernando, Tropicali's MC, is obviously different depending on your choices, but from what I've seen he's always at least KIND of sleazy, even if you steer away from some of the more ethically dubious choices.

CJ is a lot more shounen protagonist who just so happens to be in a hentai drama, while Fernando is pretty outright a hentai protagonist who is more built to just go from sex scene to sex scene without being out of character.

Keep in mind too, Tropicali also has it's dark side hinted at, we just haven't full on dived into it like people who are up to date with OoT have.

Tropicali is basically still in it's set up until this first game is finished, and will basically be "Tropicali volume 1", where as Out of Touch is already almost halfway through it's full story arc. Tropicali is ramping up, but OoT has already gone through multiple arcs of light hearted and silliness and seriousness-

I think if you're good with the humor of Tropicali, and you're still on board after Gloria's route basically has Fernando saying that he'd literally murder someone for Gloria in a heartbeat, you're probably good for Out of Touch...

Hell, OoT is sometimes even more seemingly insane and silly than Tropicali, and they take place in the same world-

It's just that Out of Touch actually plans on explaining all the insanity, while Tropicali so far has just been rolling with it.

OK, I really appreciate that. Trop has a lot of what I'd call my basic, fundamental wants and desires for a porn game.

• An MC who's clearly an adult, tall(ish), fit, confident, extremely horny and interested in having sex with absolutely everyone, but who's at least willing and able to treat them all with kindness and respect.
• A cast of female characters to pursue sexually who are mostly curvy, sexy, adult women, and (likely) into being seduced and fucked by the MC without needing to become exclusive with him.
• A basic setup that includes character cards for everyone, and a progression path with each woman where you as the player "level up" as you go and unlock more content that, typically, gets progressively more lewd as you go. I also enjoy the satisfaction of the management system as well. New places, new jobs, new scenes etc to unlock as you do.
• A story that's interesting while not being bogged down in being too heavy, and where the way it plays out on screen is often light hearted and silly, especially with the sex.
• And the real kicker (spoiler alert) one of the female characters strongly encouraging the MC to knock up each and every woman on the island as part of the quest system, which pushes some of my biggest buttons. I love this more than I can say.
• I also love how the dev uses this creation engine, because so many others have an MC or male characters who are small, week and even feminine, and he achieves a dude who absolutely looks like a cool guy. I'd say 90%+ who use this one aren't sexy at all because of that.

Too busy with main project (Out Of Touch) to get it out, plus if they did, it'd just be tech stuff with no lewds/plot, so they're just winding everything up into the final update which is scheduled for January.

Basically they're just pushing one smaller update into a larger update since they gotta take time off for the holidays like everyone else.

You missunderstood my question. I'm not asking about the reasons behind the delay of that "small november update", I'm asking about where is the official information that the next update is gonna come in january. Cause I wanna check it out.

There hasn't been an announcement, but it's been stated on the discord by the developer:
"It ended up being so minor and 50+51 took so much out of me that I’m just rolling it into the big update in January. It was just tech and polish stuff anyway"

"Hey guys So you’ve probably noticed I’ve been less active the past month or so, things are finalizing so I can actually explain a bit TLDR I’m getting a divorce and my mom is terminal ill. I’ve been dealing with both of those situations for most of September onwards including all of my work on 50+51, and after having a few weeks at home with my parents I’m back and currently mid move to my new apartment. I’m not going anywhere and 2025 is going to be another important year for us, the only real consequence for you guys is that I’m going to push everything in the schedule back 1 month just so I don’t have to crunch out Tropicali in a few weeks while simultaneously building furniture. So right now the plan is for it to come out at the end of February for patrons. That still gets Tropicali 100% finished and the entire next OoT arc done in 2025, so nothing really that crazy. Anyway, I know that’s not the greatest thing to read but we’re nowhere near done yet and the best is yet to come."

it was my understanding that this game was not going to be updated until chapter 50/51 of out of touch was finished this said is it possible at some point the dev misjudged the time that would take its possible but unlikely i personally haven't been watching all to closely at this thread and know that this game wont get a update for a while well the soonest i would speculate is middle to end of February but that is just a guess not facts

this all being said just because some one puts out a wrong statement doesn't make them a liar it makes them uninformed and is the job of those with real and accurate information to inform them not call them liars and idiots now then can we all act like the adults we are and be civil and have healthy and engaging discourse ive seen to many game threads descend into chaos just due to one comment and i dont want to see it happen here even if it has a bit already i say this because i really like this game and would love to see its thread not done like the treads of so many other games where the mods come in and wave there big stick around and make it unpleasant for everyone

p.s that was not a statement against the mods i think they do a great job especially certain ones

I don't really have much interest in the other game, so I'm just going to wait it out and hope that this one gets more content whenever that happens to be.

im glad to have been a encouragement i also would like to said what you dont like other games why there are a lot of really under rated good ones out there and i say this out of curiosity as ive never heard of someone only playing one ero game

Oh not "all other games", just the one other than this dev is working on. I've learned that its his main project and Trop is a side thing, so whenever Trop does get more content, then I'll be happy to play it.
