Yeah I get annoyed when AVNs dictate MC reaction instead of letting the player decide that first. But thankfully pretty much any choice involving Carla lets you choose something for someone else instead.
Yeah, after the initial reaction MC toned it down and we started getting more choices. So that worked out.
I think she's pretty, but I've never pursued her as a LI because she doesn't seem interested in the MC that way, and often choices for her are vs. Eva.

If you tell Jess she accidentally turned on video chat, she still talks like you didn't say anything in her bonus content scene much later with Emily.
On another note, I've tried quite a few AVNs with no women I think are pretty. Pretty much all of them are pretty in this. Not only that but this game has a ton of them with real sized tits. It's actually making me annoyed thinking about all the less than attractive women in other games. How is this game *full* of them, and other devs can't manage one? Madness.

I especially dislike the cliche where they go from attractive plain jane to dolled up and reinvented.
For me it's a downgrade.

.I don't think Emily is ugly. The more I played the more she grew on me. In many AVNs she'd be one of my favorites, but this game is way over its quota of hotties.

Yeah, I'll agree that 95% of the time short hair is a pretty big downgrade. It's certainly not helping Emily. It takes a really specific face type for short hair to not be a problem.

yeah tho a few AVN's taught me to play paths even if I don't like how the girls looks cause they may end up being a character I love or just a really good character. When I first started playing AVN's looks use to matter to me more now looks don't matter at all once I get to know the character.

Maybe you're right, there was an uploaded wallpaper of Emily looking beautiful, but with completely different hair and make-up. We hardly recognised her.
I agree that great characters are important, and can make a LI a favorite. That said, it's a friction point if they're not attractive. Just something that's constantly dragging the experience down little by little as you play. Generally the biggest source of this for me is giant balloon tits, but from time to time it's a less than pretty face.

o for sure there is always a point where it doesn't matter how great a character is but that is rare for me thankfully as I rarely think about looks unless I just really hate a character's appearance lol. I even have some characters that are considered hot by some in other games but I find it impossible to find them even a tiny bit attractive because either I see them more as a friend or I just straight up don't like the character , tho that's only a small handful.
Agreed. The ginormous bewbs and ass are tiresome in these VNs. There are a few VNs that are right up my alley with the tags, but the female MC or main LI looks like a slow 14 year old designed it, so hard pass.
Certainly seems like a valid option. I'm ready to forgive though. (Pretty easy, since none of that shit actually happened to me.)
I get the impression that at the time she didn't realize that whatever she did (I am guessing she provided the information that led to them unlocking MC's phone) was going to be used in such a way. At the very least now that she has seen what she inadvertently caused she is trying to fix it.

Not everything can be fixed in my opinion, when you are involved in such a life changing event, and on the bad side of it.
yeah Mark is great. He's annoying at first and then after a while he became endearing, and that's just like real life. the characterization for mark is so good. better than derek from BaDIK even. cuz derek is mostly just supportive.As "(annoying) best friend" AVN tropes go, I think Mark is my favorite (most tolerable?). In some games they're just annoying, or I outright dislike them, but Mark is only slightly annoying and kinda funny.
