I was wondering does lib_burst_generated.dll have something to do with better performance? since my game crashes at unity logo so i have to remove this file in order to run the game but then i get 14 fps lol. well i am gonna give it the benefit of the doubt since its not a finished released so maybe the real performance increase is in the full version coming soon i hope. My cpu does support sse4 so don't know why its crashing with this file included even though its compatible. well 1 positive i can give so far is atleast widowmaker was ported from OW1 not 2 so thats that i guess :Kappa:

It is nerfed for performance reasons and it will be fixed in the future. Afaik that's what Henry said...

Everyone's complaining about performance, but this is a bug test? Just enjoy what ya got? I don't seem to be having any issues myself. The only performance drops I get are when I have a ridiculous amount of models, but that's par for the course on any version thusfar.

yes, this is supossed to be a beta test, and yes, the performence in general went up. I could add 3 characters in previous versions and get low a framerate but with the latest one i could get 7 chracters before hitting slideshow numbers

Share performance stats and computer specs.
I've seen people who say "I have no issues" while playing with 30fps or less.
I've seen people who say "it is unplayable" for anything less than 60fps.
Saying "I have no issues" doesn't have any meaning.

It is interesting seeing how merely changing cpu clock speed affects this game. @3.2GHz(underclocked) I get ~57 fps in both versions, but @4.1GHz(factory default, screenshots in the spoiler tags above are taken at this speed) new version performs better(~75fps) while old version performs exactly same as underclocked...

There does seem to be some optimizations going under the hood. If cpu can be utilized more in the future performance will increase substantially, currently it is clear "game" is bottlenecked by low cpu utilization, using only around half of its full capacity...

Yes! Widowbutt is back!
Also you made me curious so I lurked a second in the dll subject.. It seems that SSE4 is not the problem, but instead AVX2 (yes also performance related), so it's suggested to look up your cpu serial and check if it is compatible with that architecture. But I found no further explanations.

Fuck so it is that problem then, i don't have AVX2. Pretty wierd since i swear in previous version this was not happening anymore even with that file being used.

So i tried the previous version with lib_burst_generated.dll and its working fine and not crashing. just out of curiousity i copy and pasted this one into the newer build 0.54a but its still crashing. its so weird i don't understand what could be the problem now. If avx2 was the problem then 0.53 should also had crashed too but it didn't :FacePalm:

I haven’t been as active in this thread so maybe I just missed it but what is the difference, besides the characters and performance, between 53 and 54? Is it purely performance and the characters or is there other stuff I’m missing?

and, PSA, I tried the FreemodeHG script, and it still works with 0.54, have had no problems with it thus far seems to work just fine.

im getting a black screen when i open the bin file but i cant open the true facials.exe or .bat files. can anyone help?
