Sadly, it turns out that Early Access on Steam is no longer allowed for adult games. Here's the response I got from Steam:



The following only concerns people who buy the game on Steam:

So, this pretty much throws all of my plans into the bin. The whole point of me releasing Part 2 in Early Access was to make sure I have enough money to actually finish the game. I know this is a shit situation for everyone, but here's what I came up with:
  • Part 2 will be released in the summer (most likely either July or August of 2026) and will contain Episodes 10-13, in-game days 16-23. This should be plenty of content.
  • Then, Part 3 (or the last part, or whatever it's gonna be called) will be released around the same time in 2027 and will contain Episodes 14-16, in-game days 24-30. This would be the last part of the story.
  • Of course, Parts 2 and 3 will be cheaper since I basically cut the original Part 2 in half.
So, instead of Early Access, you'll get two normal releases with a lot of content. I understand that it sucks for you, it also sucks for me, but it seems like adult games are in a bad situation overall right now. I guess you can expect a lot of the developers (at least, those who aren't rich) to divide their games into seasons or just focus on creating small games now. Let's just hope they won't ban adult games altogether.

There are no changes to the release plans for Patreon! Part 2 on Patreon will still have in-game days 16-30 and all of the remaining Episodes, nothing changes. I'll just make a different version of the game for Steam.

I know nothing about this market place but here is an alternative maybe for you to look into until you are allowed to put it on Steam. Personally im gonna wait for it to be on Steam even if you decide to use it the other market im about to mention. But another dev recently put / got their game on Zoom. So might be worth looking into first ive heard of it. The only other market I can think of makes you advertise on your pateron so won't mention them.

I'd just tweak this to say fuck the puritanical groups attempting to exert control (Collective Shout being the most prominent one, right now, as they seem to have caused this with the No Mercy thing a few weeks ago) - and, most importantly, fuck Visa and Mastercard for capitulating.

Steam are, unfortunately, just doing what they have to do at the behest of Mastercard/Visa because they need a payment method to survive as a business. The source of this shit is the duopoly, and that's what's gotta fall (because pieces of shit like Collective Shout will always be trying to make the world worse no matter how hard you fight to get rid of them).

does season 1 that is on steam ended at a "good" stopping point?
it can have cliffhangers as long as it ends at a point where it's "acceptable/good/satisfying" if in case the game development stopped midway

While I encourage you to buy it on Steam (it's on sale right now, same as Tune in to the show ;)) or get it on Patreon, all my games, including An Evening of Wonders, are on f95.

Hey everyone, something a little different today :)

Recently, I've been considering ways to reward patrons more effectively, and I believe I've found a solution that works. Starting with Episode 11, all $5+ patrons will be able to participate in polls that determine which girl receives an additional scene in the upcoming update! Since I've already planned out Episode 11 and started working on it, the first poll will be published today.

So, some more details:

  1. The additional scenes won't influence the plot or be straight-up sex scenes, but more of a "hanging out" with some teasing and a sexy outfit. So, for example, if Girl A wins the poll and she has two "hanging out" scenes in Episode 11, she will get a spicier additional one that wasn't originally planned.
  2. The polls will be published once I'm done planning out a given episode.
  3. IMPORTANT: Patrons of higher tiers will get additional voting power following this formula: $5 = 1 vote. So, when a poll is over and I'm checking the results, the vote of a $10 patron will count as 2 votes, the vote of a $25 patron will count as 5 votes, etc.
  4. This won't influence sex scenes - if Girl A already has a planned sex scene in Episode 11 and she wins the poll, she'll just get an additional scene anyway.
  5. Right now, I think there will be one poll for every episode, but if things go well, it might be changed to one poll per one in-game day. I'll see how things go for now.
Anyway, I hope everything is understandable. I'm hoping this might be a fun way to encourage more people to become patrons and give you an opportunity to influence the game, even if in a small way.

Hey everyone, it's time for another weekly update! :)

This week was a good one! I'm done with planning out Episode 11, and I started writing the first scenes and creating renders. My goal is to release Episode 11 in January, probably around the end of the month. As always, I'll keep you all updated if anything changes :)
