I personally like "dark" endings, but dark is a pretty generic word, so we might be talking about a different kind of content. But We need answer from you guys what do you think about Dark and extreme endings ?
This is a Felix/Sophie update. No ending yet, but we are very close. Is this a complete update of the Felix and Sophie perspective along with the first ending?
In this case it goes beyond the physical, of the games of this type it is the first that happens to me it was always a sexual attraction although in this case it also exists in Sophie something else arises. That's why it always seemed strange to me that she insisted in front of Zack that she still loved Felix. I think that in this latest update she has been honest with her feelings. Those who want a Bad Ending or as mzer0 said Cathartic ending for Sophie it's never likely to happen. Because in media it's rarely done. Even in older movies like Tinto Brass All Ladies Do it, Monamour you'll see that the wife always gets to have fun and when they are feeling a little doubt (not guilty I must say) there's this one slut friend (like Amy) who will say, what she is doing is right and it's just physical and he should embrace it if he really loves her.
But the funny thing is when the FMC asks for advice because maybe the husband found out about the infidelity and left angrily the slut friend will be like "Is it another Women?" (implying if he is cheating) And after hearing her explanation will say "You got me worried I thought he is leaving you for another girl, don't worry husbands always comes back, you just have to lie or make him believe you truly love only him".
So it's always like the wife can cheat but the husband can't. And if he finds out about it, either he has to forgive, forget or accept that it's only a fling nothing more. And if he objects he is too old fashioned to cling to Morality, Faithfulness etc. And if the story is about husband cheating than almost always he gets a bad ending.
Even when a husband grows a spine and do something horrible he gets the most horrible ending (like the movie Unfaithful, Deep Water) though it's also somewhat bad for the wife but not much. I think movies like Unfaithful got hit because of their unusual ending.
Would it be the end? I didn't expect it in this updateIt's out.
The wait begins...
EDIT:
The background in the update thumbnail shows the interior of a car. Who wants to bet we're gonna get an ending where Sophie, after being found out, runs away with Zack; driving off into a romantic sunset and towards an uncertain but hopeful future?...

By dark endings i meant conclusion where the narrative concludes with negative outcomes, unresolved conflicts, or tragic events for the characters involved. endings that often depart from the conventional or expected happy endings and can evoke a range of emotions from the readers, such as sadness, shock, or contemplationI personally like "dark" endings, but dark is a pretty generic word, so we might be talking about a different kind of content.

btw nothing related to your ongoing struggle I have a speculation that zack will turn sophie into a cam girl since he's the one seeded exhibitionist kinks into sophie's mindSeriously considering getting it just to see what that phone call is all about...
Do I have the self-control?

I don't know if you've played Kyoko and Misumi. In case you did, I think you've seen that our endings are usually pretty grim. If you are talking about a bad ending for all the characters involved, I'd rather not answer that. I wouldn't want to create expectations.By dark endings i meant conclusion where the narrative concludes with negative outcomes, unresolved conflicts, or tragic events for the characters involved. endings that often depart from the conventional or expected happy endings and can evoke a range of emotions from the readers, such as sadness, shock, or contemplation
But the dark ending can be for some of the characters and the same ending for other characters can be a happy one. What am I reading ? Just think how many derogatory terms there are for woman that sleeps around vs man. In my language there is actually none for male and overall the worst curse you would use on a guy is equivalent to “son of a whore” so you are insulting the guy by insulting his mother . The society view on this is very clear – dude that sleeps with multiple girls is like a hero / someone to be envied while woman is the worst possible being. I'm confident dudes cheat more. Women do also suffer more consequences - pregnancy, losing financial support and are likely to suffer from violence. So it's always like the wife can cheat but the husband can't. And if he finds out about it, either he has to forgive, forget or accept that it's only a fling nothing more...
In western media certainly male cheaters are the heroes of tv shows and movies like Mad Men and Sopranos. As for why in fiction "male cheaters" are punished more (assuming they are) - My guess would be the audience, I believe such drama shows are generally aimed at female audience.
I was explicitly talking about media. IRL women gets more negativity and consequences; from a moral standpoint cheating was considered bad in any era. What am I reading ? Yes, and also because percentage of men cheating in 80's 90's were much more than women but now it's getting close to 50/50As for why in fiction "male cheaters" are punished more (assuming they are) - My guess would be the audience, I believe such drama shows are generally aimed at female audience.
Yeah, this trope is in many FMC cheating media. I read a book from Amazon as someone suggested it was good corruption book where the wife believes she still loves him to end and he is a cuck (which he was not). Just to achieve it she helps the bull financially ruin his career by sharing his unique idea with bull and make a slave out of him. Later a little bit hurt because he wasn't affectionate like before and never participate as cuck in her infidelity. That's why it always seemed strange to me that she insisted in front of Zack that she still loved Felix.
I played both and honestly I liked Kyoko and Misumi's bittersweet Endings; it's rare to see MC getting an ending where he moves on (specially the Kyoko version). But there was no non-happy/consequential ending for Misumi (or Kyoko), she is either happy with Shoma when pure or Isao when corrupt.I don't know if you've played Kyoko and Misumi. What i said very much applies to media. In media it is not exactly rare for the male hero to have multiple partners incl cheating, but for female hero ? Nah. Look at media aimed towards general/ male audience and you will find the male favouritism.I was explicitly talking about media. IRL women gets more negativity and consequences; from a moral standpoint cheating was considered bad in any era.
I wonder what is source for that opinion. My opinion is based on fact that males are far more sex driven are far less family attached so it just makes sense for guys to cheat more.Yes, and also because percentage of men cheating in 80's 90's were much more than women but now it's getting close to 50/50
what rule are you talking about?Since we're getting our first ending can someone leak early this time ? since nobody broke the rule for quite some time so guess its fine
Never played those. Bittersweet endings are possible? I don't mind spoilers.I played both and honestly I liked Kyoko and Misumi's bittersweet Endings; it's rare to see MC getting an ending where he moves on (specially the Kyoko version). The dev(s) have repeatedly asked people not to leak the new updates until at least the Game Access (5$) tier is out because it hurts their income and thus their ability to develop this and any future quality NTR games.what rule are you talking about?
