I mean, to be fair, in some NTR games, there is a "Pure Love Route" (Where you and your partner remain faithful to each other), so the question isn't baseless. Some people may derive enjoyment from the challenge of beating at NTR game at its own game, so to speak. Others maybe like the characters, world building, and game mechanics, but aren't into the NTR, and thus hope there is an alternative path. I also think more paths gives the game more re-playability, so there is that too.
NTR is used for Netorare (your partner cheats on you), Netori (you cheat on your partner), and Netorase (Swinging/Partner Sharing). I mean, if you think about it, you can never have Netorare without Netori, because regardless of which partner is cheating, the other is being cheated on. The two always go hand-in-hand, the only difference is perspective. Although Netorase feels a bit out of place when listed with the other two, since it is done with consent and thus not cheating, but all three are Cucking fetishes regardless.
