I'm still holding out hope that Maya and Kara can both join the main harem, they might have the same story roles right now, but that shouldn't be the case for the entire story, they are both different people (and they look wildly different too) with their own likes, dislikes, issues, etc. after all, the only difference should be a few differences based on your partner pick, and make the one you didn't pick as your partner be an optional member soon, unless that's too much coding work for you, as it will need more variables that will alter scenes and dialogue, you haven't made the others optional either after all.

I agree, but more immediately, I hope that if they are indeed mutually exclusive for good, that the harem tracker stops showing the silhouette of the girl not chosen.

I have no plans on making both Kara and Maya available in the same playthrough. As the game progresses there will be more and more decisions which alter the story and change content so you can always save the one you don't initially pick for a new playthrough. As for the harem tracker UI, this is going to get completely overhauled soon TM.

Noticed that the dev is decently active in the thread. Is this the public version, or in true f95 fashion is this the paid version and the dev decided to still be active in the thread?

There is no paid version. I just give my patreons a few days early access. They also get a V.I.P code to unlock cheats.
oh ok, i was asking because of the "A VIP mode for patrons which adds bonus scenes throughout the game as well as the option to quickly unlock all the collectables and episodes (These features will become free as a part of the main game upon its final update.)" which is what i meant by paid version, having special access to content that wont be available in the without paying (unless f95 is f95 and gives the 'paid' version)
