I recommand against overarching alignement traquer. they are easy to be miss use in execussion (at this point, anything that can go wrong with being grey, I saw it happen) and tend to pegeonhole the player into having one option (and make choice they woudn't do otherwise). Plus, the incremental nature make for little pay back/anticipation. I would propose instead to go the Telltails way, where choice have an effect butterfly, or/and asking the player more or less discretly what he/she want.

Just for some context
Worse than I thought, though I'm not sure what I expected. I clicked on it due to the mind control tag, a concept I really enjoy (though seldom done right). Looking at the tag and images got me suspicious (mainly due to the inclusion of a mind control tag without maledom or corruption.). Reading this I'm happy for not downloading. If the game is not meant to be some femdom game, I can't understand why anybody would want to play some spineless character, yet many devs choose either that or an incredibly stupid mc.
Yeah I was interested in the tag too. But from what revealed in the teaser. Was theres some underground organization who have a bone to pick with the current city law enforcement. And then did some parasitic spell that turned a captured law enforcement agent into one of their cult members. So looks like its going to be something the enemies uses?
Yeah., cause first impressions is not allowed in a teaser right. An impression the dev is trying to advertise his game.
Of coure first impressions are important, but its not the full first release, however claiming this is how the MC is and will continue to be before even the full first release is just silly to me.
It is absolutely unfair to react with a face palm emoji, but just how people are allowed to praise the game, people are allowed to criticize the game. It's good to see criticisms so people can avoid games they won't enjoy as tags are fairly useless at showing what the game will include. This game have several tags, but neither neotare nor lesbian is given. To be annoyed about a weak willed and apologetic protagonist is not useless, it warns people who don't want to play as one. Just as it's unfair to criticize people who like the game, it's unfair to criticize people who dislike the game.
