Agreed.

I've seen other staunch fans of games here on F95 delay playing early leaks of updates until the scheduled day of public release, and I think I'm going to do that with this update of this game.

I know it doesn't do shit for the dev IRL...but it feels more respectful of their time and effort. There's only a handful of games that I think the dev is doing such great work that I would consider delaying my own selfish gratification, but this really is one of those games. After all the negativity towards the dev it turns out that it was just a huge update that delayed the release of new content, and yet I haven't seen any of the people who posted nasty things apologize or walk back their comments. :cautious: If this dev even remotely pays attention to the conversations on the web about the game, it must be really disheartening to be working on something amazing and yet be personally destroyed for it.

So if you're ever here reading this thread, BaiBai, thanks for a very fun, well-written & engaging game. I'm not supporting you financially, but I am going to respect your effort by waiting a couple more weeks to play 0.9. Hope you keep working on this game and there are more updates to come. (y)
