as I'm a certified traditional extremist lel I usually only enjoy it if the protag is truly leading, especially in sex scenes. if thats the case I enjoy full vanilla as well as really dark stuff. most games just operate from a very suubmissive mindset imo, therefore the romance doesn't touch me in the slightest, but if its done more traditionally like in cosy cafe I can enjoy it. twisted memories seems to be written by a grown up guy as it seems, and even though I only got to the first subway ride I found the small sis endearing and the reminiscing about cathrine as well. its unusual for me and I'm pleasantly surprised. usually I go for the dark routes, but its probably just because I cant stand the "simping" of the protag in the romance routes. here I its possible I might find interest in both routes. look forward to see for which route I'll go. just seems like a good game so far

Last message for now i don’t want to clog the thread to much I’d recommend going all in on one route for a character ideally the whole cast ie all corruption or seduction for every character the side characters only got one route so if you like them go for them I’d recommend you do at least the first one which you’ll see very soon if you haven’t already she worth it. Why you should go all in on one stat corruption or seduction is if memory serves eventually you’ll need a certain amount of points to get a scene I assume a sex scene or perhaps something else but you get the idea and doing all characters down the same route makes more sense at least to me narratively then seducing one and corrupting another but that’s just my take play the way you enjoy gonna leave it there thanks for humouring me enjoy the game bye for now

yes, I remember reading your recommendation a few posts above to another member. I think its prudent. especially to make the MC coherent throughout the game, like you said. it also just simplifies seeing everything in-game as you just play through 2 times without having to remember every choice for every girl. I like it simple. thanks for the good advice - and thanks for answering so kindly all of my questions. was a very pleasant interaction =)

Don't worry, the mc is very much leading here in both routes. It's more a question of how immoral you want him to be. Will he do anything to try and get with the LIs. Will he push their boundaries whenever possible.
Doing the romance routes can even advance you quicker in some sexual aspects, because the LIs trust you more.

a really beautiful and romantic story(seduction route). although it could use some proofreading. seems hastily written as some words has switched or missing letters, all that aside, it has real potential and can't wait to read more of this.

Don't worry, the mc is very much leading here in both routes. It's more a question of how immoral you want him to be. Will he do anything to try and get with the LIs. Will he push their boundaries whenever possible.
Doing the romance routes can even advance you quicker in some sexual aspects, because the LIs trust you more.

went with your advice and just chose the seduction path for this run. have only seen the 1. day, but I liked the MC so far in that route. especially in the math class with stephanie and mrs. teacher and also later with viki. enjoyable dominant. the interactions with mum, lil sis, and big sis seemed like genuine care and not like whiteknighting - the MC showed with steph that he doesn't need to whiteknight to get a girl so its pleasant to see him just be kind to the family members.

my most favourite thing about the game so far is how wholesome the MC is to himself. he really stands up for himself. very unusual and extremely pleasant

always wondered about corruption: is the appeal to have a girl that is always willing for sex?



because in that case I always prefered a MC who is so sought after that he always has willing girls, but the girls are more interested in giving themselves to him instead of craving the sexual pleasure itself. same outcome but the girls are still rather pure/innocent

iirc in japan many guys see the appeal of corruption in just turning something pure/beautiful into something degenerate/ugly

I think the appeal is to break and destroy the character's personality and essence, so it stops being their choice if they love or desire something, a good example would be with the possible future for Cathrine in the corruption route, I can understand the appeal for that kind of development, the scenes are good and all, but for me, the seduction scenes are just my jam.

those two definitely often go hand in hand in jap games. the appeal of mindbreak I can understand, but girls craving sex too much just repels me. also in real porn/life

But you see, in romance narratives for example, the culmination of the relationship may be seen as the start of the relationship, the first time they have sex or the start of their family, but that doesn't need to be the end of the narrative, now, in corruption or mindbreak narratives the point is the build up to the corrupted individual and a glance to the final stage where no redemption can be done and that it, you can't do a lot more with that character, just adding more victims. That's why I like the way the LI in the seduction route are written, they're cute but also have defined personalities and wants, some more than others and it's not exactly ver nuance but it doesn't need to be.

Also yeah, the graphic aspects are very pleasing, I enjoy the blushed faces the most, very cute, I can't tell if it's HS or another program.

pretty sure its honey select 2, but with very specific stylized forms. the bodies are sexy, also don't mind the shota style as its just all the guys who look like that. the faces of cathrine, steph, and viki are cute, but the mum, lil sis, and big sis look a bit too unreal for my taste. but it seems one gets more and more used to the style. the whole game just looks really beautiful

am curious to see how the seduction routes play out. I was expecting the usual simp <--> corruption choices, but the way the MC interacted with steph was a pleasant surprise. a bit alloof and confident. but still good hearted. hope it continues that way.

took me quite a while to realize that corruption games are often focused on the LIs receiving pleasure. kinda expected its all about getting the girl to a corrupted state so that the MC can get maximum pleasure from her

Ah, so is HS 2, thanks dude, don't know how the dev did that to the models but I sure like it a lot, for me all the LI are cute in their own way, not droping names but a few days ago I was playing another HS type of game with a lot of girls and even with good animations, the writing didn't quite get me, I'll try again later but who know, thats why I appreciate the work that the dev is puting on, after finishin my first run I did a all corruption one and then an all seduction one, of course thers more scenes that play the same, but theres a good amount of changes to add flavor to each path, hell, still after doing that theres a locked scene at the end of the gallery, and that's awesome for me.

the style gives the game its unique charm, but I just find the normal honey select models too good to pass over. this for example is the standard model when you open up the character editor of honey select 2. pretty much one of the most perfect females I've ever seen. real or not

Oh so that's how it looks, I know theres a HS version here but I'm afraid my poor little laptop can't handle that kind of heat, it looks awesome though, you know, games where you can dress and change your characters looks are my delight, like the saints ones, hours just making cute, cool or sexy oufits, and if the game already has awesome stuff to begin with then all the better. Then you get more and more deep and realize why a lot of devs decide to use the same park (if you played enough avn you know), all the focus should be on making likeable LI, nice sex scenes and a good story. At least for me those are the must of any respectable game should try to achieve.

my potato PC commited insta harakiri. but the game is trash anyway. stupid simple sex animations. its only the character editor thats good. but if you make no renpy game its pointless. also the girls don't get better than the standard one imo. the more you change the less realistic, cute, and hot she looks

Some interesting games doesn't necesarily need a narrative, but I don't like those that much as well, I'd have to dig more on the development of HS to understand. I get what you mean about the taste, I don't go out of my way to play something with heavy NTR or in the case of this game the ugly bastard or corruption, although I think it's good to get out of your comfort zone to get a good understanding of yourself, the fact that I really like how the girls look helped a lot, and now Im excited for what's to come. In the end this is a hobby to endulge ourselfs with what we want, so feel free to ignore what I said.

But at the moment there is no choice, you build the harem anyway. I hope that in future updates the game will become more variable and you will be able to choose with whom to build relationships and with whom not. Besides that I have no complaints about the game, I liked the narrative, character models and their personalities.
p.s. a lot of grammatical errors, but since the game is in development I am willing to ignore it.

If I remember correctly later on you will get the choice to go a solo route for a character as there are going to be 10 ending solo endings for each of the 6 main and 4 different harem all the girls (main and the side characters)and just the main 6 then a family harem and school harem which should be self explanatory.
