I hardly think he ran out of good ideas as the game has several plot points clearly planned out as of the last update.

What are you talking about '3rd update'? We are on 0.8.
One of the things Baibai needs to wrap up is the mc reason for being sent back in time or rather how. Second chance at life, but who or what did it? And to what end? What happens after he finds out the actual reason he got to where is now

I dont agree, the why and how the MC got sent back is one of the parts of the story that doesnt really need to be explained. I feel like if we suddenly got an explanation as to why the MC got sent back, be it for a second chance at life, or for some other thing, it wouldnt fit into the story. This game isnt about the MC trying to figure out why he got sent back, its about him trying to make the best of being sent back
i thing baibai said somewhen that he would not rly deal with the "how" or "why" he got send back but just treat it as a plot device
I'll join the "who cares?" chorus. It's an AVN, not a sci-fi epic. It's a plot device to get someone with an adult mind in a position to talk pretty girls into bed and have another chance to appreciate the family he took for granted.
Hell - even lots of really good actual sci-fi stories never delve deeply into the hows and whys of time/universe jumps. Erased (for me a top 10 anime) comes to mind, and it never gets explained at all...and nobody notices because - just like TM - it's about the story, not about the mechanics.
E.g., OMG how will the MC defeat the fire-breathing dragon in this room!?

If one can't suspend disbelief to enjoy entertainment, then very little will ever be entertaining, no? Obviously there are limits, but methinks you might be wanting different things from an AVN than most.

I'm not sure about if we should find out why we got sent back in time or not. It's not something I'm dying to know, but if it never gets answered that's going to be a loose end, and you'd expect he would always be wondering if he's going to wake up back in the future one day, and everything he's gained will be taken away from him again.

Most likely a hereditary ability based on what we heard about his father, and I'm guessing he won't get a better life expentancy, so he will just double down on living life to the fullest with his harem.

I'm not even sure that's even a big deal, though, is it? The "lesson" of this kind of story is basically to life your life to the fullest every day, so whether it ends tomorrow, or 10 years later, or never the MC should still do everything the same today and let tomorrow take care of itself.

Why? Why do you think that needs to be answered? No matter what the answer is it wouldn't change a single thing. Maybe a god did it, or a spirit, or satan himself or an alien or whatever. None of the possible answers change anything about what the mc is currently doing and will continue to do in the future. So it doesn't matter.
This is like asking why, in the walking dead, the zombies haven't already all starved to death years after the outbreak. The Answer is: "Because they haven't. Shut up. That's not the point."
Of course it's essential! This mystery is the only reason I keep playing this game, the porn part is just a nuisance we got to put up with

That feels like unsatisfying though imo. Maybe not the best of being sent back, but rather to make things better for everyone would be a better choice of words. That would be a good enough answer to why. I disagree though, I think it would fit the story which is why I brought it up
