"let her make mistakes" makes the MC look much more mature

It's the best choice imo bc the one is just awful as a character. I know the corruption path is there, but in those decisionsnyou're just being dominant, this one the MC is just being selfish and insecure. It's not really a good pivoting moment, but it is what is and Alyvia's corruption path is still in the process so it's yet to be something worth your time other than seeing where it goes
If you want to know what happens in either case and don't mind spoilers:
"Let her make her mistake" is the seduction choice. Alyvia does not loose her virginity, she has a fight with her bf and breaks up with him for good. She ends up back at the house that night and has a heart to heart with ben. They both end up kissing he massages her breasts. They almost go further but decide to sleep on it. The next morning Alyvia isn't sure anymore, but ben eats her out and they start a relationship with each other.
"Send it" is the corruption choice and much less "effective" with Alyvia. She also comes home late at night after being confronted by the other women. She's in a bad mood, ben tells her he's gonna conquer her and show her how she really wants to be treated, but she doesn't take him seriously. This continues the next day and at night, ben finds out she doubled down and is back to uploading more sexy pictures. Where he ultimately pretends to be an online rando and tries to seduce her that way and talks a bit with her and ends up getting a sexy pic from her.
That seems like a pretty huge divergence compared to all of the other LIs, where the difference is more flavor/tone. Wonder how that's gonna go going forward...
She's basically a counter to catherine. Most of the LIs have corruption and seduction routes that develop at a similar pace. Cathrine has a much faster corruption route and a slower seduction route, while Alyvia has a faster seduction and a slower corruption route. Makes more sense too, given her character, that she reacts much more receptive to a romantic approach, compared to a purely sex based one.

Ah right, I totally forgot about Catherine precisely because I'm doing her seduction route so it feels like she dropped out of the game (for now). Very good point about the counter
A whole bunch of rambling
Alright, this was kind of a weird week. It didn't start of the best with the development once again reaching its most un-fun part even though I really tried this time to change my communication in terms of expectations but I guess its just kind of inevitable for things to turn out like this with the time between releases being as they are. It isn't that tragic though, after all its not like we haven't been through this plenty of times by now. Much worse however was the whole Itch.io thing which together with the Steam purge happening right before it really scared the shit out of me.
For those of your who don't know, Itch.io deindexed all adult games due to outside pressures while they're working their way though them, banning everything that doesn't adhere to a certain set of rules.
Because of that I very seriously considered just dropping everything else to start working on a heavily censored remake of the game as soon as possible to be on the safe side of things and I even already started digging through v0.1 to figure out how I'd best go about doing so, but I calmed down a bit by now. To be honest though, I still think doing it this way would be the most rational course of action and I'm probably kind of stupid not to do so immediately. At the same time however I don't think I can do it. V0.10 isn't in a state where I'd be willing to say fuck it and just release it. The way things are right now I'd rather cancel it completely and try to work myself back to the current state of things as fast as possible but I really don't think I can do that to you guys and I also think that it would be nice to have at least episode 1 out in the way it was meant to be (I also don't even want to imagine the shit show that would break loose if I did, but that's secondary). Accordingly I decided to just stick with it for now and gamble on the game being safe for a while longer. After v0.10 however, the way I'm currently thinking is that I won't start work on v0.11 and instead start over with a remake of v0.1 which will most likely end up quite a bit different from how things are right now. But we'll see about that once I get there, especially since I currently have two different ways in mind how I could go about doing this from which I'd still have to decide on one.
All of this sucks to an unbelievable degree but sadly there is no way of knowing whether I'm overreacting or not, though I kind of doubt that I am. Either way, for the last few days I've been kind of flip flopping between trying to continue the work on v0.10 and starting over with the v0.1 remake without getting much done of either and while doing so I realized too late that I still had to do some bonus renders for today. I'll catch up with posting those next week instead and try to get my head back straight in regards to wrapping up v0.10

I understand the panic, just please don't start over again. The Itch, and Subscriberstar are still up. Many people will not stick around for a censored version of this game. This game is unique, please keep it that way...

Heavily censored? Awww hell no, this game is one of my top 5 favorites because he's true to his vision. BaiBai_ I'm pleading with you here, don't do it.

Of course, it's shit, but it was to be expected. I believe that it is possible to create a patch for the censored version that will restore most of the content (of course, not everything), and it does not necessarily have to be done by the developer.
BaiBai_ If you need any help with the Renpy script for reworking, I'll volunteer.

A little edit to the original post:
I think there might be a need to clarify how such a remake would exactly look since I feel like you guys are imagining it worse than I intend to do it:
The biggest change and the only reason why I can't just do a rewriting of the script files to get rid of all the taboo dialog/narration for it to be patched into its original version later are the models and its probably the thing that would hurt most. They have to be changed to look like actual adults: MC bigger than Jacky. Stephanie, Viktoria, Cathrine, Emily, Lola on par with Alyvia and Mya.
Apart from that I wouldn't re-imagine the game, I wouldn't change the story in any massive ways. In fact, for the most part it would be exactly the same, day by day, scene by scene, even render by render with the vast majority of dialog and narration being one-to-one as it is right now. I'd need to put all the school girls at the end of Z-School, so I'd need to adjust some dialog here and there for it to make sense, but that would be pretty minor. I would also need to change the Cathrine corruption route for it so be consensual but I think to already know a way to do that by only changing a few paragraphs of dialog too.
The second big thing is obviously the whole incest thing and the more I think about it I don't think that I would want to go the landlady/roommate route for it. Instead my current idea is to do it in a way that all family characters are non-romancable in the official, non patched version. Meaning I'd develop a third route for Jacky, Alyvia and Emily where the MC has a platonic relationship with them and make these routes the only ones that is available in the official release. The other routes would stay the same as they are right now but would need to be patched in though an “unofficial fan patch”.
Now, of course this would take time and it would hurt a lot. Believe me, I don't want to do it either and still I think that it would be the best way to give this game at least a chance to ever see a satiating ending without having to fear being banned from one day to the next. In regard how much time this would take I wouldn't be able to tell. But if I can leave most stuff as it is right now and only have to redo it render by render it really shouldn't take an unreasonable time, especially considering how long even an regular update takes me nowadays.
If I could have I would have bet money on you showing up after this one.

So that is it? A remake after the v0.10? Logic told me it is reasonable move and need to be understandable but emotional told me it is unacceptable.
I started played this game 2 years ago on 0.1/0.2 I think and I have a special feeling for this game all the time, which make me think this game is the top one of my gamelist. It is some kind of unique compare to the other games on this site that it talks about the relationship between mc and his family.
Mc is a dick in the past that made his family all hate him, he ignored all the signals and though the people around him differently, after that all of them was suffered from their own unfortunate life.
For now, he had a opportunity to start over, he discovers things that he wasn't known, things he ignored and the reason why his family hate him: himself, so now he has the chance to change everything, starting by himself and recover the relationship between them.
This is how I get from the game for my first playthrough, not some prevert that suddently trying to peek or fuck their mom or sister at the first place, but to try make a move to recover the relationship for a family in order to have a redemption for himself. Sure if it gets censored it will be fine to be the step son or something else, but will the feeling still be the same? Will mc's regret becomes different? At that time it will just like a ship of theseus, the name of this game is the same but inside the soul is different.
I understand why BaiBai_ you need to do this, but maybe you can use some method like patch to make it possible to pass the laws for them but still keep the current same story?
Plus in my opinion, it is already be too late for the game to have a remake, if subscribestar surrended shortly like itch then it will be impossible to have enough time to make a remake 0.1 for the game within 1-2 month, so why don't you take a vacation break again to wait for the water to be clear? If it gets banned, then start over. If it isn't, then go over the original plan. How about this?

Go to hell, a remake takes years to make, if that game that started in 2022 isn't even finished yet and you want to do a remake. Look for solutions, remove the censorship and put another patch, find another place to upload like Boosty, or don't upload any of the games and send a separate link to download. But do a remake and you support it, you're an idiot, with all due respect. We wait another 3 or 5 years for it to finish, no fucking assholes.

Other devs who make remakes are idiots. The Family at Home 1 dev took a leaf out of the bag. He finished his game and made the remake. Another dev finished his game Ataegina and now he's remaking it.
Finish your game first, then the remake. In v. 10 or v. 11, give it an ending that most people want, a harem, and then do the remake. If they do the remake, we'll have to wait another 3 years or more for v. 9. Ugh, I know it's painful because of itch and visa, but going back to the beginning is ugly. I've seen remade games that disappointed me because you have to wait longer. I'll tell you the name of a game: Where the Heart Is. That game was missing just one chapter, and the damn dev decides to remake it with just one chapter left. Well, it's their decision. If they do the remake, I'll lose a hero, and whoever doesn't like the remake, the same goes for it.

Take it easy, mate, I'm not a developer, so there's no need to get mad at me. That's the first thing.
Secondly, as BaiBai already said, the rework won't affect all the content and won't take that long (especially if he gets help from the community).
Thirdly, if he do nothing, we may not see the game completed at all, as ALL platforms will most likely crash.
You only think about yourself, you are rude to everyone, you demand that you be given everything at once, but why should you? First learn to be polite before you start demanding things.

I think many of us preferred to stick with the memories than play something censored and watered down to satisfy the payment companies, at least that's my opinion.
