Preach. But sadly, speaking truth/reason here won't stop the endless stream of complaint posts by individuals who have decided in their own heads (based on none of that inconvenient truth/reality stuff) that the dev is unquestionably malicious for not meeting their specious demands. If you review all the devlogs the author has published—many of which are available on this forum—it becomes clear that the developer has been focused on fixing errors and has been working on that task for quite some time. It is true that all previous content has already been translated, but the developer also made it clear that they would begin a typographical error review, which makes perfect sense.
Using that point in time as a reference, it’s important to consider that correcting this kind of issue requires reading virtually every line of dialogue. Unless the developer relies heavily on AI, it’s not realistic to assume they could finish so quickly given the sheer amount of text involved. And even with AI assistance, the process is not that simple: I’m not aware of any AI capable of processing such a large volume of text all at once. On top of that, using large models via API is expensive, since they charge based on the amount of text processed, which would require splitting the files and reviewing them in chunks.
I personally tried something similar using Grok to correct translation errors in an RPG Maker game called Demon Deals, and it was a disaster. The results were inconsistent and unreliable.
