I played the latest build of the Remake and then the prologue of the original again, and the new version is definitely better written and has much better character models. Though it sometimes has way too much text and takes too long for things to happen. But it IS an improvement in all aspects. I still miss the old Jeanne, though, not a fan of her new model.

i just hope this doesnt have the hasty treatment. its a shame he let go of the early build because a lot was already set and you had a ton of animated scenes. Something that I think will take a long time to get the same amount of content. I like some of the new models but i had nothing against the previous either. Just taking some time to introduce scenes with the family/exploration that is a bit annoying, but its better than rushed development with subpar scenes and tons of bugs.

good luck if ur able to legit change new models into older ones cause that sounds like alot work but also insanely worth it with how new models some chars are just.... no (also be careful cause if u are able to do it i bet the dev is going fucking hate you lol)

Don't think anyone coming here is still paying so doubt we'll be seeing any dev logs leaked (Even though I'm of the opinion Dev logs shouldn't be behind paywalls or at least not for longer then a couple days)

I know it seems dumb. But one of thebmain reasons I like this game is cuz it had a cool story line. So I don't find the duouge pointless or padded....
Dialogue and story is fine, it's setup for the story at large. I imagine that's the appeal of playing a game as opposed to just finding a quick video.
If anything is padded, I'd say the animations are getting padded. I really don't think I need to see the same cumshot over 3 or 5 times in a row. Like, damn I get it, the demons want more but I'm trying to move on.

it is pointless padding, good scenes should advance multiple plot points and or characters, we just get more/slower characterisation with zero plot progression. So the scenes fail on a narrative standpoint.
