May I ask how far the story is in the old version compared to the remake?
I just finished 0.1.5 and I WANT MORE
Based on the the changelogs there's gonna be a lot of changes and additions that will be made into the remake so I thought playing the old version should be worth it


Also, will the dev consider adding shortstacks to the remake or do they already exist in the old version?

short answer it is most defiantly worth the play and there are no short stacks

the long answer is
to answer your question as to how much of the story is done in the previous version it was stopped on 7.3 and had quite a bit of animated scenes and a lot of lewd content but as far as actual story development goes not a whole lot i mean it did develop but not to the point of ever explaining more about the deal the mc made in the beginning of the game it mainly focused on the main characters development with some of the side characters not fully introduced at all and some of them had more story then the main characters this being said i would not keep your hopes up for more of the game at all it took a year and a half to get the remake where it is now and i dont see snats moving much faster

I played the latest build of the Remake and then the prologue of the original again, and the new version is definitely better written and has much better character models. Though it sometimes has way too much text and takes too long for things to happen. But it IS an improvement in all aspects. I still miss the old Jeanne, though, not a fan of her new model.

i to would like this ability i wish i had thought of this before but to be honest i believe the models where a patreon reward thing back when the old version was on snats patreon and the only way im aware of to get them is to be a patreon at that time or know someone who has them you could also try asking around in the tw discord but they likely wont take kindly to that im also not 100% if that info is accurate either but ill drop a edit on this if i find out something

i just hope this doesnt have the hasty treatment. its a shame he let go of the early build because a lot was already set and you had a ton of animated scenes. Something that I think will take a long time to get the same amount of content. I like some of the new models but i had nothing against the previous either. Just taking some time to introduce scenes with the family/exploration that is a bit annoying, but its better than rushed development with subpar scenes and tons of bugs.

Don't think anyone coming here is still paying so doubt we'll be seeing any dev logs leaked (Even though I'm of the opinion Dev logs shouldn't be behind paywalls or at least not for longer then a couple days)

Except he hasn't added more then he did before, especially compared to the last three updates of the old game. From what it looks like he's added some content and then padded it out with pointless dialogue to make it feel longer. Also I can't accept any excuse he has to stop working on it simply cause if he did lose power for a month, he makes far more then enough money to get a backup generator or go somewhere with power. I don't even think he said anything about losing power and it was just his devoted rabid fans saying that.

I know it seems dumb. But one of thebmain reasons I like this game is cuz it had a cool story line. So I don't find the duouge pointless or padded....

Dialogue and story is fine, it's setup for the story at large. I imagine that's the appeal of playing a game as opposed to just finding a quick video.

If anything is padded, I'd say the animations are getting padded. I really don't think I need to see the same cumshot over 3 or 5 times in a row. Like, damn I get it, the demons want more but I'm trying to move on.
