Looking over his subscribed Star page, I see that it was about a month between his initial teasers and the release. To be fair, the game didn't release until late August so that you can argue two months
Even when he releases the new version we will not get it until probably a month later after it trickles down to the poors
The game was released in an alpha state to its highest Patreon on the 30th of August, then over the next week and a half, the game was slowly released to everyone, gradually going through each tier until a public release.
I'm saying what happened the last 2 updates, it will happen the same as this so when the milker releases the next 30 minute update don't expect to play the crap for at least a month unless you pay
Ive only played the remake and its terrible, guna try the older versions and hope i get some jill scenes

People are gonna hate me but i like the remake (even tho the dev is milking it hard) the models, the story, and the world building is way better than before its clearly a upgrade from the old version.
Yes i know i know the story is way slower, since were gonna be in the hospital for quite some time(probably like 2 year with the dev being super lazy and making it slow on purpose lol) but i really think it has its charm..i just love knowing more about the npcs and the world of the game, like what's happening around us stuff like that.. i know its kinda dumb..
And of course i really wished we had WAY more scenes..anyway, we'll see how it goes..but honestly i stopped caring a long time ago, i know the dev wont let the game die since he makes way to much money, but i'll be 6 feet under when we will finally get to explore the city lol..

The dev said that the hospital stuff will be completed in this next update, so in the update after that the mc should be home. Probably won't take 2 years to come out but it will probably take a few more months. I think we will at least get 1 update this year.

Well i wont get my hopes up, i know the dev like milking it as much as he can and well since last update was 6? months ago....but lets say 1 year full at best for "completing" the hospital arc.

The main reason why people don't like the remake is because it erased all the progress. The way the story is told now is much better in my opinion, but the updates now take a long time to come out so it will be years until we reach the same point we were in the original.
It has been almost 8 months since the last update and we will probably not get anything for another 2 or 3 months.

I think that this model of branching the story or locking scenes behind choices is terrible for indie games. It usually is either a way to make you replay a game to look at the entirety of the content (which turns a considerably average sized game into a big one) or ends ups as gargatuan game that is extremely hard to develop both because of its size and by how much consideration it is required in each choice for everything to make sense.
