You can dislike Snats' work ethic/pace while admitting that both versions of TW are objectively well done. Personally, I think the remake is on track to be much better than the original if Snats didn't work like an ADHD kid in an escape room.

From what we've seen so far I think you are right. The new version has the potential to be a lot better than the original. But he really needs to find a way to release updates faster. The game was first released in December of 2020 and the last version of the original was released in December of 2022. At this point he has spent more time working on the remake than the original version and we haven't even left the hospital yet. This pace is just not sustainable in the long run. It's just a matter of time until even his biggest fans will start dropping their support.
I don't even think he is trying to milk his supporters he just overcomplicates everything.

He just has to re-add some animations to the Android version was causing it to crash originally, and the new animations for the winners of the polls, the mother, the sister, and the brother, were the winners the name escaped me at this time

He's had the models/environments done for the main cast and side characters for about 1 1/2 years now. He's just addicted to making new characters and has a terrible workflow/scripting process. He manages himself like a herd of cats.
