So will the saves from v0.6 work on v0.1.5?

Nope. Consider the remake as something of a new different game entirely that is based on the old build.

Honestly at this pace I don't even know if the game will ever be finished. It has been like 3 years since he started the remake and he hasn't even finished the prologue.
