While there is more exposition the actual major story point that we're at when compared to the original game would be just after you wake up at the hospital. Now it should be acknowledged that there is a decent amount of new dialogue that happens between the MC and the family members as well as a whole new plot point that gets covered on the news, but if you're hoping to experience familiar content from the OG I'm afraid you'll be sorely disappointed.

after a long time waiting, having made a post that the new character designs would suck ass, I have come back to say: yes, they do suck fucking ass. the femboys are now fem-men and totally unfuckable looking in the face, bony rather than soft and far too lean for my taste. Aizen looking dumbass bitch of an MC, too. This statement is basically in relation to all the femboys and the family, the hell content has neat enough designs, but it's the family and mc that basically take up most of the screentime in this h game- initial version, at least. I have not come here to negotiate on this simple truth, it is the truth, and any who think otherwise should just stay silent. Honestly, why can't the dude just finish the fucking game then make another game in the same world with a different family, it's not like there can't be multiple isekai events instead of milking the same one game until it eventually leads to his fanbase dying. Snats sounds like a very dumb fuck for not being able to realize that, to be honest. Long-term planning and thinking? Now who would ever invest in that clearly stupid idea and motion of operation. just look at how well Ubisoft is doing!

I think he's being slow too but he's adding way more to the game than usual and he's also had multiple times where he's had to stop working for one reason or another. Including one of them being a damn hurricane that knocked his power out for a month. If you want to stop supporting him, that's fine. But I'm gonna continue because I really enjoy what he's made.
The Old version has more content as a whole. There's quite a lot of animations in the old version, but nearing the end you can sort of tell he rushed to "finish" it as the generally natural progression goes from like 65 to 110 out of nowhere.
The newer version has better rendered models, but as many have said, debatably worse designs. I personally don't mind some of them, though I don't understand why the NEET is apparently 7ft tall and clean looking. I imagine SNATS is going through a fetish phase, like how many women in the first game have planet-sized badonkers. I digress.
The remake has many scenes with demons, but the 11 scenes in post-hell are nothing to write home about, as several scenes are basically the same just slightly different. Then some them are in-universe ads, which is pretty disappointing.
Is there any way to take the old models and use them in SFM OR Gmod, since snats won't give up and go back because of this remake?

i to would like this ability i wish i had thought of this before but to be honest i believe the models where a patreon reward thing back when the old version was on snats patreon and the only way im aware of to get them is to be a patreon at that time or know someone who has them you could also try asking around in the tw discord but they likely wont take kindly to that im also not 100% if that info is accurate either but ill drop a edit on this if i find out something

Except he hasn't added more then he did before, especially compared to the last three updates of the old game. From what it looks like he's added some content and then padded it out with pointless dialogue to make it feel longer. Also I can't accept any excuse he has to stop working on it simply cause if he did lose power for a month, he makes far more then enough money to get a backup generator or go somewhere with power. I don't even think he said anything about losing power and it was just his devoted rabid fans saying that.
