Honestly nandaja you are completely correct about the big updates, it's all amazing and cool. But like you said I would like to have updates every 1 month too.

I'm sure snats is passionate about this game and doesn't do it only for the money, even if it is I don't se a problem, The game is good so why do it for free. But IN MY OPINION, he needs to get a bigger team and do a sort of progress bar (like other developers do) either that or stop setting up schedules he can't follow. Getting a bigger team might be expensive but the dude has like 20+tiers and I'm sure they are profitable enough and the game is quite popular

Nah one update every month is constant stress and if something comes between (yes snats is human something always can happen) and he has to pause his work, it wouldnt be possible in just a month. life is going to be a loop and personally thats hell for any person living in the LOOP.

I personally prefer big updates, so I don't really mind having to wait longer. Monthly updates are just a way for devs to burn out way faster

What I learn from these big updates on this site... they never live up to the expectation. Having a set routine of 1-2 months per release makes the devs stick to a good time management. It is also apparent if they made a way shorter update and slacked off, so they are usually more careful.
If you make a big update like this... it is very easy to get lost in the weeds and just overall lose track of time.
Do not be surprised if the update is a letdown (like the last one). Just temper your expectations.

God I am still mad about the last update when he held back on a lot of content he made in that time just to keep it for future releases. I HOPE THIS TIME AROUND IT WON'T BE THE SAME, especially it being the final update of DISK1.

I love the game but I joined the discord some months ago and I coudn't stay for long because how ignorant they act and how they like to alienate anyone with a legit question, bunch of ***.

Not necessarily one update per month since that can be hard to produce, but i think one small update every 2 months is faisable.
There are some developpers out there who also work alone on their games and do it on their free time and still manage to release an update every 1,5-2,5 months with some really good quality content. (Amaziri with his game MetF is my favorite example for this, he used to release medium size updates every 2-2,5months then realized that his fans would get impatient and started releasing small DLCs, with some good content, like 2 dlcs between every 2 major updates, so that people wouldn't have to wait for 2 months to get the update, and everyone was happy with this). Then you've got those who work as a team of 3-4 people and only release once every 2 or 3 months sometimes with mediocre quality content.
At the end of the day it all depends on the dev's passion and full involvment in their own work and how they manage their life and time, not everyone goes through the same path obviously and we all have our own personnal problems and real life stuff to deal with, so i can't be mad at him since i'm not in the position he's in and don't know how he does things (i would have been super mad if he was constantly promising us updates to be released in short periods of time but never could do it), but i would have prefered a smaller update every one in a while rather than a huge one and having to wait half a year for it to drop, just my personnal preference. Either way, he's doing a good job with this game and i hope it only gets better with time.

lol, not the first time i've read someone complaining about his discord mods, plenty of people saying they're complete a-holes, but i'm not on his discord so i would'nt know.

From what I see on the server they are nice people until the moment you criticize the game or ask why it's taking so long. If you do that it doesn't matter what you were trying to say they instantly put you on their black list. I came to this thread only to talk about this game and some of it's downsides since I knew it would be pointless for me to open my mouth there.

So... they are discord mods? You cannot expect discord mods to be reasonable people. There is a very specific type of person attracted to that position, and I think most of us get the picture of what kind of person that is.
