I think the bigest problem is that he made ( and mind have for some) a total transformations to some of the most loved characters.
People have hard time accepting great transformations, even more if they are perceived as replacement for the originals.
But I think I will hold any kind of judgement until I try the revork, perhaps we will like? Perhaps there will be some ajustement.
Time will tell!

How do you know if he had enough time to finish it? Did he tell you how much content is in the remake? The fact that you will actually have a map for the hospital to explore probably means that the prologue will be a lot longer than it is in the current version.

I think it's just better to wait for the actual remake before people start insinuating that this might be a cash grab. From all the content he released up until now I don't really see a reason do distrust Snats. A lot of people seem to forget that it's just one dude doing all the work and unlike many other devs that do games with koikatsu models, Snats actually does a lot of custom animations, and that alone takes a lot of time.
There are devs that 100% deserve to be called scammers and I have my fair share of rants in their game threads. I just don't think that is the case here.

The amount of sneakpeeks he showed over the months it looks like the first release will be huge with many characters, unless he doesn't release with all those characters and locations then that would be pretty depressing, but I doubt he would just jump ahead of the first release and work on all these different things, would easily just upset people

Aridana looks androgynous asf in the rework. He should just get it over with and make the entire game with everyone being trans, as that seems to be the target audience.

The mentally deficient people on the discord don't even understand why turning every female character's body into copypasta character models pulled off illusionbooru from 5 years ago is unappealing to them....

Also the "add your character" thing was a total cashgrab because people are starting to treat the rework like it should be and dropping subs.

There wasn't going to be a rework of the beginning of the game. The upgrade was to be for the second part of the story. Total scammer antics.

They have like 800 patreons a month. A few of them give more than $50 per a month. So the average would be like $7,000 - $12,000 a month. That’s more than most people earn in a full time job. I highly doubt they would still be working full time when they earn a hell a lot of money.

Well that’s the high end, I said 7k - 12k. Assume all 800 of them only donated $3.50 that’s $2,800 per a month. If you keep in mind that lots of the donation were over that amount plus some donated $150 a month, it will definitely be easily $7,000 to $12,000

If this wasn't just an act to prolong milking the piggies, he would've first released the game to completion, and THEN started going about either remaking it, or creating a new title with his improved technical skills. Instead he's doing the classic grifter technique of "holding the game hostage" to maximize the period he'll get monthly payments.

Well he seems to have a few people defending that type of behaviour. Look at the angry weirdo reply to my comment because I gave criticism. It’s sad we live in a world full of man children that can’t take criticism. But I guess people with jobs would understand why it’s important to take criticism. If I ran a small business (a video game is a business), I’d love criticism from fans.
