Ima be honest, I'm not a fan of remakes to begin with in the vast majority of cases. New IPs are the way to go. The game really didn't need a remake. He felt it did because he has progressed as a dev, but it's a bit like authors who try to rerelease old books when they've progressed as a writer. Sometimes it is better just to move on and let it remind you of how far you've come.
The difference is one is an actual game that exists and one is a 1 year old scam that still continues till today.

Yea pretty much expanding on the originals story and while changing the looks of characters. In the original the hell/heaven and the hospital that was in the prologue were just straight up linear story parts. This next update includes just the hospital most likely added with a free roam aspect.
