So let me get this straight, this entire update is all "I've cut over half the content because I put too much and MC X Anny update". Did I get all that or am I missing something?

Well, I think this is the last chance the developer has to turn this project around. If he comes back with more changes and crap like this, it's definitely not worth supporting anymore.
Maybe he forgot to put it through the translator. Sometimes it happens.
