I mean, I admit I have *not* been following the conversation (especially not the confusing post you quote), but I thought the thing we are here for is the change aspects and the remakes.

I thought "main thing" referred to "main draw/appeal". But yes, it is not the main story.

Though I mostly played the first version of the game and it felt like the main story is the MCs exploration of his gender&sexuality. And probably something about the drug whose name escapes me.

You are too harsh towards my statements! Especially for jokes. How then can I participate in the discussion? And what does Kukold have to do with it? There are no married couples in the game! With regard to the couple Bert and Lindsay, we can say that all is not lost yet! Lindsay is outspoken about this! Need help for this couple! And John will have to choose ways to live in this city! And the ability to change gender can be a useful feature! Anyway, these are extra hot scenes! These are general considerations against the background of the impressions of the public release! So it's going to be a super secondary thing, are you kidding me? My god, you're literally killing the game. Imagine if the game is expansive with tons of paths, visible and hidden stats, heterosexual, gay, and bi content, then sharing content with the male MC would never result in any content for the female MC. Damn, almost two years and the day when she transforms hasn't arrived yet.

So I don't know why they bring up the gender swap issue if they're going to put it aside. I wouldn't have put it in there and that's it, why would I try to make this game more complicated, not to mention the two reboots it's had that add up to 7 years.

This is a big bucket of cold water, I don't want to hear any more about this.

Aren't there enough games with futa / femprotag already?
Something like one third of ALL the games recently are femprotag alone. Plenty of stuff for people with those transgender fetishes.



But if you filter for the main content of this game so far:

> maleprotag / incest / simulator / not VN

The "latest updates" page already goes back 4 months.
If you also filter out AI CG, Realporn and HTML, it is 1 year. And the remaining games are all absolute trash.
Currently this game is the last hope for a dying genre.

This game is, according to its very title, about being able to switch genders.
Also, there is a difference between Futanari (or hermaphrodite) Protagonist, an Trans Protagonist and a Female Protagonist, you know?

Most female protagonist games are *not* targeted to a transgender fetish or women, or towards people who are curious about feminine sexuality.
They are targeted towards men and the sex scenes show it.Because they are set to see it from the perspective of a guy in the scene or the perspective of an observer.

This relates to a pet peeve of mine in many of these games:
Switching to the POV of someone who is *not* the mc in a sex scene.

Though I am pretty sure that (on average) the quality of the games you do not care for is the same as the quality of the ones you are interested in. Loads of shovelware!

Pretty sure IMrMoonI was not diminishing the importance of the gender mechanic, but the correct "classification". It was less a statemen about the game and more about my statement that was quoted!
(I am still pretty sure that the sister is not going the "main thing" storywise regardless, but we need to wait for 2 more remakes to make a call there ;-) )

EDIT: Well, recent reactions show that you interpretation is correct.

Important Announcement.


After reflecting on the last few days, I finally had the courage to decide to do a general content redux in the game.
Reasons: Many unnecessary paths and useless dialogues, redirections that are only shown once in a single line of dialogue with more than 3MB. Too much complexity in the use of the characters' attributes, some of which are almost completely irrelevant.
To be clear, I am willing to revisit the game's scenes from the beginning to "clean up" all the content that I consider useless.
In addition to the content, I want to redesign the system:
- Masculinity and Femininity will be chosen at the beginning of the character creation to determine the behavior, whether the character will be more effeminate or masculine, along with their background.
- The basic content of Sexual Orientation will return to determine the MC's sexual option: Heterosexual, Bisexual or Homosexual.
- The game will have a third-person narrative, in a narrated and non-conversational way, at least in the scenes that will not require a complex conversation.

- A character creation screen will be added where you can choose your character's clothes and hairstyle.
- Navigation between environments will be removed, and I will started using the daily event mode: At the beginning of each day, the Player must determine what the MC should do in the Morning, Afternoon and Night periods. This way, the player will avoid having to navigate through empty places with no content, he will go straight to the event. This way it will also be easier for me to create events in special places without having to create a whole path to get there or fill the void.
- I want to change the day the game starts, this way I can start the open world without having to create a ton of content to fill the void.
- The amount of reading will be reduced, many of the conversations will be reduced to simplified narratives, in the same way as renders. The texts will be the main tool to describe events, emotions, actions, etc. This helps me create content faster, without having to worry about camera positioning, facial expressions, lighting, clothes wearing at the time, etc.
I hope you understand my decision and I ask for patience to wait a few more days for the game's release.

Well, now I feel dumb.
For all my joking about getting more reworks, I honestly thought the game would get some progress.
But, Greono decided to rework it again. The planed stuff honestly sounds like the original vision of the game is gone.

I guess that's it for me. Have a nice day and I hope not all will be as disappointed as I am.
