nothing against that redux version but the lack of the render thumb on the save page, fix that pls...

as many have already said here, I will also be among them, that the game has already restarted 3 times!
and here I thought that the 2nd part was already fully underway and everything would be fine, but then suddenly this unexpected rollback, again, only now the view of the cameras is just extremely strange.
of course, everything takes place, but it is really annoying, as if the game started with another restart.
I, personally, will accept this part of the game, let's see what happens next...
in this regard, I hope that everything will go as usual!
and not like with a new update, new content, continuation of the story, while the branches were not continued!
for example, I finally want to see a continuation of the story with the guard from the park, or (I was waiting even more) a continuation of the love adventures with my cousin, when you could go to the pool or leave your mother's house.
a lot of gay content was eventually put aside, while new content with other characters and guys appeared, but in the end it all ended with hints of a sequel, but in the end there was none...
linearity is sometimes good, that you don't need to understand where to click again to go further, but let there be a choice there.
or at the very beginning, when you choose an orientation, then you will immediately have access to them, but the opportunity to look at others also remained... although, this will be exactly on the way bi.

Ugh, my dude. You have had so many good ideas, starts, and hot situations going on—but you keep doing literally the exact same things over and over for like 7 years or something. Just stop and try a challenge: progress one single story—whether it's Brett, Lindsay, Anny, Jimmy, or Jennie—just one scene beyond what has been there, redone, redone, and redone for 7 years. Yes the new UI does look better, except now even old scenes are back under construction, again. For 7 years we've been able to leave the bathroom door unlocked so Anny can walk in, now that's gone. It's supposed to be Redux, not reduce.

Some of the things you have are really fun and interesting and it's what makes it so frustrating that you just never do anything with them except re-hash literally the same exact scenes/story beats for years and years with zero or even backwards 'progress.'

Well, it's not nearly as bad as one might expect from reading the feedback here. In fact, it's not bad at all. Different, sure. But not necessarily in wrong way. I'm feeling significantly less lost in options maze, and that's a good thing. For now I'm choosing cautious optimism (very very cautious).

honest feedback:
- After playing I had the feeling you just summarize the first half of the previous game, but its too stale, keep it short but with all the great scenes from before
- I love to spend more time with Anny in a daily cycle
- and the few new content is really nice
- but you removed too much of the great stuff you already had build over the years
- I like the way the story is focusing on Anny and introducing "normal" characters. It make the world more believable and grounded. The last updates of 38 and 39 where just too crazy and I lost all interest.

one of the most important things you need to work on is a guide / hint system. (maybe within the quests? make green hints what needs to be done and red are the ones that will be updated in the future?)

But I always have the feeling that I miss half the things.

Despite the short coming of each version of the game I am always excited about what you will come up with next and I love the scenes you create. You have very unique ideas.

Keep it up! and can do it :)

Was it really? Because while I of course agree that it can be fun to explore and find new unexpected stuff, the branching was bordering on insane, it was more a chore than fun. Top level save scumming. Also it was more like necessity, because there wasn't enough on one path.
But I always have the feeling that I miss half the things.
Yep, the inevitable result of the above. I'd like to have paths to explore, but in more accessible way, i.e. if I don't do something today, then have another chance tomorrow. If I got it corrrectly, that's the plan, so let's hope for the best.

i like the new UI, will the status screen be coming back for other characters, i liked knowing how much points were in for each character. Maybe do what someone else said and have the missions/guide for content that is implemented and what isnt fully accessible marked red or something.
i like the options at the start. i'm a little confused how the cheat codes work in the redux the older version had you able to play around with stats if you wished to but now i only see that you have 1 of every level and the other code does nothing.

its finally a sand box , i always wondered how will i return to to the hoe traps in the side streets , do i need to replay the game over and over every time to see the missing parts , now i understand why the Dev remade the game , like this i can go everywhere without a restart , its sad everything was removed but at lest i know what to expect .
-You may need to add a skip button for text , must of the text was read multiple time trough out the years .
-you might add the gallery in the phone , make thing easier to access.
-you might add some toys to use when taking a shower
-you might add street\park hookups to make fast money
you got the formula right this time .
Great Game Dev but pleas no more remakes :LOL::LOL:

How much Bret is there in the current update, was everything cut besides the first confrontation at the train station?

Hello everyone.
It's normal that you're complaining; it's understandable. The game went from over 16,000 lines of dialogue to just 5,000, and the content is more direct, without fluff.

I know some liked what was there before, and so did I, but it was impossible to maintain the quality and updates month after month.
This will be the game's new normal. I'll continue with this new formula; for me and most players, it's been better.
I still don't understand why you even went this route, there were at least three new characters in every update, most of them without any consequence. Maybe you should finally establish the pool of characters that should appear regulary, maybe even every update, and build the game around that.

I basically redid the entire intro with new renders because I no longer had the old poses and cameras. During my trip and move to another country, I lost a significant amount of information on old hard drives, and I'm trying to recover it. I know you'll say I could reuse the existing renders, but I'd need to redo some scenes to add a few moments I don't have in the old version. Since I already had the new camera setup and structure in mind, I decided to standardize everything, especially to avoid any surprises when the game entered the "new render mode." Well, that's it, nothing was done haphazardly; I didn't want to render what was already rendered. I'm still reusing images in the newer versions.
I think you haven't even considered the beginning, middle, and end.
It seems like you have several ideas in mind and can't decide which one to choose, sabotaging yourself.
First, think about the exploration points and work on them. I wanted to take advantage of the beach points, but they're emptier than a North Korean's stomach.
In my opinion, you want to create an exploration system in a linear game, with no exploration options. I'd like to go back to the square, even if it's just to give my ass to the homeless man.
Do you want to focus on the gay scenes? Give the option to spend time with Anny's friends in the square instead of with her and her friend Janny.
You want to work well on the game, but you don't want to finish a scenario. Do you at least write down your ideas on paper to apply later?
