the picture shows that the MC from intertwined is on Val's path, actually. U4ia author cannot know what is planned for IW story. that's why she says "it's complicated". it's even her MC that calls her at the end of the scene.

The beach roam about is kind of lacking ...
MC is missing too many items he cannot get anywhere and
there is no thought in his head directing him to the items.

Where was MC ever thinking of checking up the sky before? Where was MC nudged to go look for them before? Total random item check up, out of the blue, is just disconcerting.

actually, you are reminded to go for the key after the end of the first free roam by talking to Lars. he tells you in what general direction to look for them.
and as a gamer, you know that you will need the key BEFORE you talk to Sea. it's pretty basic.

This is misleading totally, as if we are not on her path, meaning we had ditched everybody else at the Clud Nine and had left alone, we cannot have any scenes with her that are even worth having - we talk to her like a brain dead totally wasted meth head and then this total disconnect hits us with no indication of what to actually do to go further.

that's the nature of choices. be there at the right time, right place, or miss out completely.
and in terms of gameplay, it's just an incentive for replay value.

Whatever MC does - stay silent or speak .. she is branding him the same. What point is there for the choice then? Why si she standing with her but hanging out instead of looking for her BFF?

each outcome is a bit different. one is MC pissing her off, the other is Lars pissing her off. but she is still pissed off and throws insults as she leaves. but later, the effect of the choices you make here won't be the same in the next updates.

MC is rather reasonable. he doesn't overreact go for the extreme explanation right away. especially since, it seems Paige still receives texts from Gina. there was also a note when she first left. that's also why, you usually wait 48 hours before reporting missing people. and here it's only been 1 day and a half. MC's priority is to calm Paige down first and comfort her. the only suspicious thing was that Gina said she went back to her parents, and everyone found that weird because they know her story, but MC doesn't.

it's probably been only weeks, if that. She broke MC out of the hospital, they shouldn't stay put for months. MC probably left immediately, and Jack went back to her military unit and did all the paperwork to leave the marines properly before joining MC. she doesn't want to be branded a deserter and half the marines looking for her on top of MC's dad.

Way to total bomb the scene with out of the blue guitar hero. We never get to see these two as kids or young adults with singing instruments, now all of a sudden ”that song you always played before” enters the picture with nothing for planning or anything. We know MC used to dumpster dive, alone, on account of some bullies and he met his BFF also dumpster diving alone on account of the same bullies MC managed to scare off a him with a baseball bat. Then they took up pumping iron in his private gym - that was the most we had about those two spending time together or hobby sharing.

we were still in the intro phase. we had only one flashback. we don't know much about them. that just adds to the character stories, even if it is sudden and seemingly out of nowhere. it's basically the premise of the whole game: the player doesn't know anything about anyone and discovers everything as they go.

Also .. Kira / Anita gets done totally dirty in this game too, yet the model looks stupendous .. absolutely devastating as a player to see this ship wreck ... ALL OVER AGAIN !!!
At the beach party, MC goes alone, is used as the service waiter nobody, every girl has a GF she is way more interested in than MC, nobody wants to talk to MC - he just moves like a lost puppy from one girl group to the next, making gooey eyes to any woman he sees, in the hopes that maybe one or the other might notice him and give him a tail wagging stroke or two on the head - hummiliating and disgusting atrocious behavior aimed at discarding a human being - the MC.
Anita does not even recognize or talk to MC like a friend, she just points him out to her GF and tries to make a joke on him - what was he doing in a womens clothes and adult toys store that her roomie works at, she has only eyes for her GF to show the monkey MC to and make jokes for her at his expense. Total 180 from first release.

if MC got with her after the club, then she clearly shows interest towards MC, and remembers the night very fondly. also, she felt like she began to catch feelings already. MC is also the best fuck she ever had. there is also a situation with the previous guy.

dude, of course he has to get rid of the boat... there is a tracker on it. same reason he gets rid of his phone.
you could have criticize the fact that he waited until he was right next to the island to get rid of those, though. that's dumb, as the last position of both will be recorded. at the very least, he should have put his phone in a train or a package going the opposite direction, or ask Jack to get rid of it for him. he should also have traded the boat for another one.

honestly, it's a tough decision without any information on the boat tracking system itself, and the water currents of the area. letting is go open waters might mean it could end up on the island shores later, for all we know.

Every ship wreck that close to shore will get noticed ... in a hollyday destination with divers around ... even if this is presented so lackluster ... like a run down fishing dead end village - but having a high tech human trafficking facility, constant girls kidnappings, date rape locals ... date raping ... with a high end huge hotel and expensive club with VIP section ... MC would be better off bringing it ashore and pawning it for a penthouse ... not live in the dumpster diving trailer part of the beach.
