With easter arriving, I had plans to put in some good work hours and get a lot of renders out of the way.
My family had other plans, though, so work became a trip instead.
In short, I let my render queue continue rendering and brought my laptop so I could catch up on the scripts and dialogue.
The result was 700 animated frames and 2,500 lines of script/dialogue, and I realized just how far behind I was on the scripting.
Whenever I pose the images, I always have the dialogue ready in my head. And if I get too far behind on the scripting, there's always a chance I have trouble remembering the details of the dialogue because the renders were done months before. Luckily, that was not the case this time, and all in all, it turned out to be quite an enjoyable catch-up.
There's still more easter left, and a lot of Renpy catching up, so I'll stay in writing mode for the next week too, and hopefully that should leave me caught up with the visuals.
Sadly, the easter render I had planned couldn't be done due to leaving quickly for the trip, but I'm planning a little series with the girls showing the best sides.
But you might remember this guy.
All in all, a very good week. And even though most of the time, the big focus is on render numbers, some weeks it's good to be creative on the writing side of things instead.
Cheers, all. If you celebrate easter in any way, enjoy it to the fullest. And stay safe out there.
