if in a few years an average time between game updates become 18 months, ofc they should/will "fix" that 18-months-aboned-tag rule, no doubt there.

fast roll back 4-5 years, for example...what would you say then regarding 9-12 months average update time, which are standards now?
anything is sustainable as long as it generates enough support/income in general.
we shall see where the border (for sustainability) is..or if it actually exists at all :HideThePain:

Unfortunately, the patreon model pretty much incentivizes long delays. I wouldn't necessarily say that any dev intentionally delays their game. But it's an undeniable fact that there is no reward in wrapping up a game in 2 years, when that same amount of content can be stretched out in a 4 years release window, especially if it's a really popular VN.

well if game has 10 chapters then 40 bucks tier would pay hefty fortune while waiting last update so tiers would be needed to overhaul from monthly to yearly.

I've made a Multi Mod for this game

  • Added colored hints in dialogue options
  • Added a "HELP" button during free roams
  • Added a "time cheat" to increase the time available during free roams
  • Added a "Unlock All" button to the gallery
  • Added a scene gallery to the main menu allowing to replay scenes

Dev Diary, November 3rd, 2023

2,372 frames of animation were done this week, and they are all for the cinematic I mentioned last Friday.
The positive is that having all the animations rendering meant my significant other could finally drag me out of the house and we could get the Christmas shopping out of the way. The negative is, well, having two computers doing Dforce simulations and rendering nonstop, there was no increase in story renders.

Above is the Premiere Pro timeline of the cinematic with the song displayed as green, and the animations as purple, so you have a rough idea of how much of it I have left to animate (what's not purple). It'll most likely run for most of next week too, but I'll jump into full Ren'Py mode as it keeps rendering.
So, it's kind of a boring dev diary this time, but it's still very good progress. You'll get to see the full animation as the release date trailer when I know I'll be able to reach the date I've set myself.
And before I forget, if you have any questions concerning anything, feel free to drop them in the comments, and I'll do my best to answer.

Made a compressed Android port of u4ia Ep1.01c with Scrappy's walkthrough mod.

Got some basic gestures loaded in: swipe up for save menu, swipe down to hide UI, swipe left to rollback and swipe right to skip. Save files are now stored in the Documents folder. This sometimes means that you may need to close and re-open the port after installing so the save folder is properly created.

Please let me know if you encounter any issues with the ports and I'll see what I can do to get them sorted.

I started playing it, but in the end there were two LIs that interested me and therefore I stopped playing it. I don't see it as very likely that I will take it up again, nor that I will try this one.

lof has 2 3some paths so if your lis weren't lexi and holly or those 2 mc met at bowling alley then no ending with your lis together.

I don't remember their names, but they weren't in a pack, they were strangers to each other when the game started.
