Love the game so far great story writing just a few things first is this a harem path or will MC have to choose one woman only?

I've seen threads talking about polyonomy in the Bible as a Biblica scholar I will offer this, in the Old Testament poly was seen extensively especially with the Kings of Israel but seemed to change in the New Testament why? Simple really Christianity! Whereas according to Jewish mythology poly never went outdated but as societies became more (so-called) Civilized this concept became frowned upon by the church and as such basically outlawed. If you want to know Christian history, be ready to jump through the biggest rabbit hole ever. This goes for the question on incest if you believe the story of adam and eve then technically we are all related to the original pair and as such products of incest.

I agree with the creator about Loli it's not needed here (or anywhere else, my opinion) as single father I relate to most of the MC struggles and it's good to see a fresh approach to single parenting. Keep up the great work and from a writer to a writer Props on a great story.

FYI, statement about "Boy Howdy" isn't a reference to any kind of band, or even a pop culture reference. It is simply the name of the restaurant chain they are dining in at that moment. It is meant to be a knock off/parody of Bob Evans.

Also, The mentions of Matchbox 20, Mr. Mister, & Creed were part of the Episode wrap up. Each Episode (not each release, because the releses have been split into parts a & b of episodes) begins with a title image that displays the Episode's name (this latest one being "Hunting High & Low" after the album by ah-ha), and Ends with a Wrap Up scene. The Episodes are all named after 80's Rock/Pop album names, and the wrap up ties the events of the episode or the felings of the main character to the songs found on the album in some way or another. I put considerable effort into those wrap up dialogs and into using those songs to give the player a deeper insite into the MC's thoughts and motivations. The Episode that mentions Matchbox 20 and Creed is titled "Welcome to the Real World after the album by Mr. Mister, and all three of their songs that were mentioned deal with the idea of "The Real World". Something I thought was a fitting name/topic forthe Episode where Kayla get's her acceptance letter from college. The previous Episode was named after the Cyndi Lauper album, "She's So Unusual" and it was in reference to Erin.

Current Episodes

Prologue - ESC43P (escape) - Journey
C1E1 - Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This) - Eurythmics
C1E2 - She's So Unusual - Cyndi Lauper
C2E1 - Welcome to the Real World - Mr. Mister
C2E2 - Hunting High and Low - Ah-Ha

Planned Future Episodes

C3E1 - Let’s Dance -David Bowie
C3E2 - Count Three & Pray -Berlin
C4E1 - Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret -Soft Cell
C4E2 - OU812 -Van Halen
C5E1 - Whenever You Need Somebody -Rick Astley
C5E2 - Songs From the Big Chair -Tears for Fears
C6E1 - Kick – INXS
C6E2 - Permanent Vacation -Aerosmith
C7E1 - Knee Deep in the Hoopla -Starship
C7E2 - Brothers In Arms -Dire Straits
C8E1 - Appetite for Destruction -Guns N’ Roses
C8E2 - Licensed to Ill -Beastie Boys
Epilouge - Graceland – Paul Simon

Yes, I know that these may not be the pinicale of music giants, but when it comes to the decade of the 80's these groups/artists all wrote songs that, for better or worse, shaped my life and my generation. So there it is.
Bob Evans got some serious film creds!!! Didn't know it was a restaurant (I'm not not American), I am playing with sound off, wife isn't into hearing women moaning out of my speakers...
Nice soundtrack though, saw Bowie on Serious Moonlight tour in '83, saw Van Halen in '79 on Van Halen 2 tour in 5000 seat venue & in Sep I was in the lower East Side of NYC on Beastie Boys Way getting hammered in the bars on the strip...
Added note* Simon & Garfunkel should be in the top 5 of all time for music makers probably along with CSNY...

Think you're 10-15 years younger than me, if you aren't then your parents had good taste & it rubbed off...
My youngest is 25 & listens to "Screamo" but what are they really screaming about? Working at Burger King? I dropped the needle on Never Mind the Bollocks (yes vinyl), then the Clash & the Ruts who were screaming about something...

He has a plan and in the long run it will make sense. Also just keep playing and see where he leaves her. She probably has more questions than you do about his behavior... ;) :giggle:
I just got to the Poppy introduction scene and I fully agree with the two posters that DG responded to above.
Whatever his plan is it doesn't justify being such an asshole and scaring her so badly that when he does get her to the hotel she believes that he is going to rape her/sexually assault her.
And all she can do is plead with him to be gentle since she has never done that before.

He knew how vulnerable she was from hearing her story (no money for an apartment, mom dead, living in the last place she felt safe with her mom).
He also knew that she is an employee of his.
And his response is that her issues "aren't his problem".
The realtor even was shocked at how much of an asshole he was being.

He decides to help her, but rather than just saying that and reassuring her that she is safe and he won't hurt her, he continues to order her around and frighten her by threatening to take her to the police.
He just orders her to get in his truck or else.
She's clearly scared of him.
And then he gets her to the hotel and he tells the front desk person "not two beds, one king bed" - and you can see that she is just barely holding it together.

Then he gets her to the room and she says this:

I'm sure that as I play further he will give some justification for how he behaved, but sorry DG, nothing that he was planning justifies scaring and traumatizing her so badly and making her think that he was going to rape or sexually assault her like she clearly thinks.

And anyone saying "well, he wants to get her to a safer place and help her long-term" - that's certainly true, but you don't do that by traumatizing a vulnerable young woman by making her think you are going to sexually assault her.

First off I love all the movie and music references ( I'm a 60's baby) especially the times the MC sat down and referenced a band.
Second I am overwhelmed that you finally got rid of that f'king POS Billy although the reasoning was a little darker than needed ( coulda just fired him for being a lazy slacker ) it got the job done.
