I had the same issue. As somebody else said in this thread, having a short path for the game folder (eg. C:\Users\Admin\Downloads or even shorter) seems to fix the black screen problem in some casesi still cant play this game sadly because of the black screen in the beginning when starting paw_beans any trick or solution might help please?

not quite sure if this is a good decision...this is like making 2D game into actual 3D with so much more effort than actual 3D.
extreme resource starvation or massive quality downgrade may happen.
I think dev should look into how the belt-scrolling action game sprites were made if he really intends to do things this way.

johnyakuza1 Aww, you are making me blush I tried using AI for editing/polishing some of the scenes, and trust me, it's really not that magical. It saves me some time, but also produces a lot of useless gibberish. I don't really care if my writer will use AI to help him out (as if it was possible for me to find out), as long as he delivers the desired quality. The main point is to save me time and improve the quality, so I can focus on the stuff that only I can do. And ye, I will need to fill the game with some random events until we are done, and groping are one of the easiest to do Cheers!

This applies on every part of character customizations, outfits, animation etc...so that's huge effort considering the dev has to create every asset from scratch once again. And actually, many 2.5D graphic assets are actually made from actual 3D and taken a screenshot from each 45 degree angle. drawing and making assets for each 45 degree is just...crazy amout of work that requires professional animators doing the job.

There will still be new content during all of this, but it would have to reuse existing assets as placeholders and, logically, less of it while a lot of time is going into the engine. But since the game version used to get updated every 1-2 weeks or so, even at a slower pace Unaware is still well ahead of a lot of creators out there.
To get much good out of AI images you'll need to gather references for a Low Rank Adaptation Model (LoRA), and train your Stable Diffusion model to iron out the kinks. I...am not so certain I get it right, but what you explain sounds like dev's gonna dump every graphic resource that he created till this point if this new animator is to do every job for other angles because there's gonna be consistency issue in graphic assets. this is why there's a job called art director to keep the game's graphic themes and styles consistent and that's... such a professional job and that's somewhat making me doubt this decision.Most of the work applies to the artist which Unaware doesn't handle.
