Confirmed there was a malware downloader similar to recent Peach Hills Division game infection. Loads the same virus, so it was a Lumma Stealer. Change your passwords if you've run v0.1.25A and consider system reinstall or some kind of cleanup, stay safe
Was the malware attached to the file that hid itself in the temp directory? I think I may have run 1.25 but I don't think I ended up getting the extra hidden file. I did a complete scan the other day and came up with nothing. I'm trying a different complete scan now.

under_control.exe in the Temp folder is the initial payload. It should create a bunch of other malicious files in Temp to finally execute itself. This .exe is not the virus yet, it is unpacker for a virus
If you've run infected game before your local time being July 10th 2025 the virus did not execute, it is programmed to wait until this time
Hmm OK. Looks like I ran 1.25 on the 9th but it didn't work so I switched back to the previous version. By the time people were talking about the virus I was already using 1.24 again. I didn't get the temp file so I guess I dodged a bullet.
I understand your explanation, but if the under_control.exe file was never created in the Temp folder it should be safe, right? I probably run one of the versions posted here on that date while being offline, but it wasnt the version posted in the OP, it was one in the comments. I never found the .exe file in the folder, I scanned my system with NOD32 and Roguekiller and always found nothing. Maybe it was blocked at the start, or maybe it was never created while being without internet. Also, maybe that version wasn't infected, what do you think?
Edit: I'm pretty sure I ran the version which wasn't working and soon after deleted it because of that. Then I run the version posted a while after in the comments, being offline and applying the new crak myself, but I never found that file.

Is the 1.25a on here virus free? It was JUST put up. I aint taking a chance unless it is confirmed.

If you wasn't connected to net then malware was never downloaded to your system
So, the malware was contained in the version in the comments and not the first version which came up in the OP that didn't work because you needed the code from Patreon, right? I'm sure that I unplugged ethernet the second time, just for the occasion, if that's the case, I dodged a bullet.

I've checked the game from OP now, used it for testing purposes of my Antimalware program I'm developing. The virus that has been injected in the version that was posted in thread previously is not there anymore. However the game code itself is very obfuscated and calling for very suspicious functions, so I personally would recommend skipping this game entirely until Dev decides to remove this shit from the game, because now it's too sus
Verdict: Current OP links are probably safe, but I wouldn't presonally run it until dev removes obfuscator with scary techniques that raises a lot of suspicion

No virus reports in 12 hours on either itch.io or Patreon. Download from official links instead of modified versions.
I insist that you do not download anything from any unofficial site. I don't put viruses. There are more than 4000 people on 6 different versions right now. No version has viruses and there's always obfuscation and protection.
That the code is heavily obfuscated? Obviously, to prevent people from getting into my work and damaging my subscribers' advantages. It's not that hard to understand.

I do believe that you don't distribute any viruses and downloaded shitty obfuscator just to prevent patches (as you may see it didn't help at all), especially looking at AES Encryption
But calling VirualProtect, VirtualAlloc and directly calling to kernel32.dll is not the way to earn trust, especially after your game has just been a target of attack.
if you want to hide your IL code I would recommend learning a lil-bit about IL2CPP, however this also won't stop anyone from patching your game, but will prevent reading your IL code
The only uncrackable game is the one you don't download to your PC
