The one I could find here didn't seem to go anywhere, and it sounds like some of you figured it out.

not really grindy, game even punish you for grinding mobs - it's more game for exploring
you can search thread for saves, it's plenty - you can even install blackheart cheat mod if you wanna do it yourself

Beat the red monster, near the village in swamp/floor 2 the loot or chest behind it has the recipe for it, a very useful recipe for multiple quests.

Yeah same here, it's very time oriented it last maybe 2 hours of game time, so you have to go when it turns from sunset to night exactly a hour or two later and the event is over.
