Weird I have not had any other complaints of these issues before. Yes the Save game feature is buggy and I will fix for the next release. I am surprised you are getting these errors with al the testing myself and play testers did these issues did not come up. I will look more closely and fix these bugs.

Oh man, this game has some pretty good potential! The weird black screen bug and save issues are annoying but I hope the dev irons them out and does one special thing that most games like this gets wrong... (Totally keeping that to myself for now though, here's hoping)
I just downloaded this game and when I get out of the principal's office the third button did not show so I am unable to start the game

Aye bugs a plenty, mostly with the saving for me. i had the same issue i've seen ithe the save menue disappearing when trying to save. I have also done a save right before talking to a lady, and when i tried to reload the game the big save screen window was there and i couldn't close it to continue with the game. I like the premise of the game and think it has promise. It is something very different from all the currupting the family games that are coming out everyday.

Ugh I really want to like this its a frustrating experience though
spent an hour getting to the scene where you choose between Pool or Katie in the showers after following Rose
Random chance is killer, feels much worse than the previous version
Saves are still somewhat broken
-several "in between scenes" (scenes between decisions) for lack of a bettername, cause me to reset from the beginning
example shower scene with Katie after 15 straight retries my stealth skill finally worked before pushing my luck I saved
however i started at the beginning same thing happens between the 2nd stealth and 3 choice deception restarts back to
the scene between the first stealth choice and the 2nd stealth choice. If that makes any sense
-several in between scenes have a bugged "Save Menu" text
ex first scene with Rose, if you aren't confident you can successful deceive her and choose to save, the scene resets AND
the Save Menu appears but the options Save Load etc etc appears briefly before fading leaving you with the Save Menu box. The X button is there but it doesn't close it, it just forwards the text (unless its decision time, to which it does nothing)
I don't know if you can make multiple save files, doesn't seem like it
previous save auto restarts from the beginning
so when the latter issue happens you have to alt f4 and start a new game since using continue will herald the same results.
kills me inside that
oh and with the first girl the gym person/escort, i can't remember at what point this happened but if you save at one of the in between scenes and load back to it the screen is black, the choices and texts still come up, but it remains like this until you finish talking with your Auntie
previous version gameplay felt much smoother in some ways
in the sense that I didn't have to retry the first scene roughly 8 times to get deception and another like 10 times because i had to reset the game itself due to the Roselyn scene save bug.
at the same time i think the new save system is somewhat of an improvement upon the last
i can't really imagine how difficult it is to fix these things, but it is getting better at least it feels like it is.
tl:dr I personally think random chance is way too rough at all early stages of the game, not very rewarding
and coupled with these few bugs the game still feels unplayable

This game has a nice plot idea. However, there are way to many issues that prevents it being played. When I have my large display hooked to my laptop, I can see all the icons on the left and other things. But when I use just the laptop display, then most of the icons disappear and other issues.

Save menu sometimes immediately disappears when opening it.
First playthrough, went to my room and then left again after the pool, and everything except nurse's office and pool were greyed out. Going to pool did nothing, going to NO told me she was there. No other areas to go to at that point.
Check point system feels a little brutal.

to piggyback on what others have said, yeah, the save system, menu system is buggy as hell. as is the window sizing... unless i let it go fullscreen 1600x900... i can see the very bottom of the first button on the upper left hand side. Any other resolution, or windowed mode, and I can't see that button at all. Between that and the save system, I'm going to hold off for now in playing it anymore. I cant barely get past 15 minutes in without running into issues.
all that aside, i love the work that has been put in, and I'm looking forward to future updates. keep up the hard work!
