Galleries can be problematic if you access it from the main menu with Episode 14.
It's missing the "Return" buttons from the galleries, there are only "Previous" and "Next" buttons in either Gallery and Replay Scenes screens. You're stuck in the galleries if you accessed these from the Main Menu (can't save/load in galleries, no main menu button since you're still on it).
If you've loaded up a save or start a new game, and then accessing the galleries is fine since you can still esc/right click out of the galleries screen and back to the game.
So for now, load up a save/start new game if you want to check the galleries.

But then this version had to make even stupider mistakes like putting whispered text in parentheses which is supposed to be an indicator for characters just thinking text, and almost completely duplicating lines back to back during the scene with the roommate and Gabby. (Had to resort to a label hijack to correct that nonsense.) Seriously, why the fuck is it asking too much for the dev to playtest this shit one fucking time before releasing???
Again there is clearly a lot of work going into this game with the images, and the dialogue as a whole is more polished and sounds like more natural engllish than a hell of a lot of other games on this site. But version after version there are just the stupidest technical mistakes that detracts from the game and could be found and fixed so easily... (And for some reason the dev keeps going back and changing variables from one letter to full words...but still failed to notice or fix the broken variables from previous versions. Ugh.) I really want to sub and support this game...but I refuse to do so until the dev proves they give a shit about quality control.
Also is it just the compressed version that is missing two of the sound files "carclose" and "carmove" or did the dev actually forget to include them? I wasn't sure of that, so for now I didn't attempt to fix the sound errors.

For me <ESC> works everywhere, even when gallery or replay scenes are started from the main menu.

If you go back a couple updates yes and when it was good but this update is just really off and not a good idea to go to after that previous update
This game just really does not do much to help it's own self get more hype or people to support it with the lack of story telling it was at least giving plenty of fucking til they gone and turned that into something that just ends before any climax from either who were fucking and try to justify that it a tease...... you already have been fucked twice bitch you don't even know what is what..... I mean did the dev or the milf hit her head or just go dumb as fuck because you begin with the so called teasing before you turn into a total slut for a night at the motel like you did and then gave it up again the following morning after having gotten off 3 or 4 times and for some dumb as fuck reason you jump in the shower you wouldn't shut up about and all you do is the worst shit ever and do some teasing shit and then the mc's fucking birthday and she gives him what more blue balls next time again? Hey dev you don't go backwards with fucking unless you just want to be a fucking moron and want to ruin your game further with not having much of a story and all the insane things happening and the mc fucking any chic there cause if the milf thinks that she is really doing something that would be liked than she is just making any normal dude turned off with that stupid idea with being more like to reply to her next dumb things she does with ohh sorry I am going to spend time with any woman not playing teenager games who want to do that thing we have done instead of dealing with drama with u mama! I liked that you were not like whoever this act that she is doing suddenly, can we have the original Mom character back & not this ridiculous version cause she is really bad! Then to not have anything with Skylar this is just getting far from where it was heading and is so off course from what should be doing which would make so much better content that gets supporters but not teasing and no shows from the 2 best bitches it is just dumb!

Yes, most expect parentheses for inner thoughts, but that's not a rule. This game clearly shows " thoughts " as "thoughts."
I think every variation has been used in AVNs for thoughts, whispering, showing anger, fright, etc...
Because Renpy is so flexible in coding, developers have experimented greatly.
