Yes and no. It's been a while since I played, and I remember distinct storylines, but no names. Granted, I avoided/closed quite a few paths as well. While I think there are plenty of physical differences, personality-wise the LI feel bland to me.

I think that is the main issue. First, as has been mentioned many times, even by the dev, the models are the same for almost all the characters, other than hair style and color. Their body types are also nearly identical. Plus, they all have the same dialog, the same hee hee / tee hee comments every other sentence, and other than a barely memorable backstory, you can never tell who you are talking to based on the dialog.

So, you have nearly identical looking characters, with nearly identical bland dialog, and they start to run together.

This is one of my favorite games of all time but I really dislike how every character has the same face. We have Carol, milf Carol, black Carol, blonde Carol, redhead Carol... Nikki had sharper features before but now she is also starting to morph into a Carol. It's because they all do the same mimics and gestures.

At first, the game was interesting, but with each new update it becomes more and more boring. The storyline stands still and most of the ideas have been discarded or forgotten and it's very disappointing

agree. the only serious plot to reach a conclusion is Rachel's divorce arc, and then now we've been in an after-story relationship with her which is basically just her constantly in heat without any continuity arc.
the sorority one was very highlighted in the beginning and the one I thought gonna be the main point of this VN, but is practically all but binned now, instead being replaced with this weird porn making arc just for the sake of sleeping with Lexi, and then down to just exploring how to keep sleeping with Lexi.
except for the Roxy's on-going arc dealing with the gangster stuff, the rest practically only focus on how to push the relationship to the next level with a sorta wish-fulfillment charged writing.

will still continue to go back to this story solely due to the girls design really match my aesthetic (albeit most girls look like sisters), but what a disappointing development for a really fine start.

DreamNow , LOVE the game, but it may be time to split it up into parts. 9 Gigs and counting is getting to be a bit much for even people with screaming internet speeds to download. Not to mention how long it takes to decompress.

While I'm not opposed to harem routes, quite the opposite, I just can't see how a harem route can be added that won't tank this game really bad. Maybe the MC will turn into a cult leader? Or he will make a love potion in chemistry 101?

exactly, I mentioned in one of my early post, the MC is just jumping from one girl to the next not much of progression of the story like in the beginning. Lexi did make a small appearance to move story along a fraction. So I am hoping the DreamNow gets back to some of the story line instead of date fest. Oh hope the MC doesnt have an STD or the college clinic is going to run out of penicillin.

Mallory is also the faculty member over the Cheer squad.

The "special yoga" sessions and sauna visits tend to be on Fridays. We might be approaching a Friday on next release. If nothing happens then, then maybe she's been entirely dropped, but I doubt it. At the end of the previous release Roxy and her cousin were preparing to move in with Natalie, so that might spark something as well.

I might be mistaken, but the dev saw where Nikki was not an orig. LI but was more popular so Nikki became a LI and Mallory Natalie was a side character of the MC. so during one of the updates, Nikki got her own memory folder and Mallory Natalie memories were moved to others memories.
