It also offers a pretty solid story and well written characters. If you're just here for sex scenes there are definetly AVNs who focus more on that matter though UoP has quite some scenes to offer.
It's a porn game, so it's fair to compare it to a porn movie. Personally, I've never seen a porn movie that prioritizes plot over content. That's probably because those who make them know why and what they're doing. Porn game developers could learn from them, instead of fiddling around with who knows what for who knows why. The only interesting scenes here were at the beginning of the game, and as the game progresses, they become increasingly boring, serving only to throw something at the players.

Then move on. There are plenty of other games if this one doesn’t appeal to you anymore. Why come into the thread and whine when you know exactly what the game offers? And every update does add more sex scenes—it’s just that not every character gets a sex scene in every single update.

People should honestly be glad that there are still developers like DreamNow, who deliver new content very regularly, who have clearly improved visually, and whose animations have gotten so much better from the first update to now. So I really can’t fully understand this criticism.

Sure, there are AVNs that focus more strongly on plot and still manage to deliver good sexual content—and often that content is even more enjoyable because there’s depth and its own internal momentum. And that’s exactly what’s happening here as well. I really don’t get your line of argument.

If you can’t get anything out of it, then just leave the page and watch porn instead. Honestly, what kind of childish argument is that supposed to be?

These comments are for discussing the game. That's what I'm doing. And it's not up to you to tell me what to do. You can't even comprehend the meaning of what's said in the comments, and it's a very basic meaning at that. So what right do you have to tell other people what to do if you're incapable of even that? If you don't want to see anything but your opinion, that's your right, but don't forget that there are other people with different opinions, too. And those opinions do have logic and sense.;)

I’m not entirely sure whether you actually understood my comment. What I was doing was simply giving you well-intentioned advice. You want more porn content? Then look for games that explicitly offer exactly that. In that case, you’re obviously in the wrong place with University of Problems—even though this game does include sexual content in every update.

If what you really want is a game that consists almost entirely of sex content, this site is wide open to you. There’s a search function. You can find exactly what you’re looking for. That’s why I don’t quite understand what your criticism—or your so-called opinion—is supposed to achieve here. You know what this game offers, yet you criticize precisely that, even though it’s clearly something you don’t like about games of this kind.

You want less story, less plot, less character development, and more sex. That’s why I suggested: just watch porn or look for games that are 99% focused on sex content. Given what you wrote, that advice is only logical.

Some of us, however, are here because we enjoy a good plot, solid character development, and because sex scenes have far more impact when there’s a stronger emotional bond, when characters actually matter, and when they’re not just the next sex doll to be used. That’s kind of the whole point for many of us. We start to like characters, and we appreciate it when there’s coherent character development—both internally and in relation to the main character—so that intimate scenes gain real dynamics. Personally, I prefer that a lot more.

I’m also not a fan of excessive blue-balling, but that’s really not the case here. Pretty much every relationship the main character builds grows dynamically, without being artificially dragged out. So I honestly still don’t understand what exactly you’re criticizing about my comment.

You come into this thread, start complaining, and criticize something that this AVN—one that’s been around for years—very clearly offers, and that everyone knows upfront. That’s what surprises me. If this were a completely new game and you said, “I’d prefer it to go more in this or that direction,” fine. But here, it’s absolutely clear what you’re getting.

And if you prefer porn, then watch porn. There’s plenty of it. Or, as I said, there are also games on this site that offer almost nothing but sex content.

Nonsense! Don't imitate me and attribute things to me that I didn't. This game was more interesting at the beginning, and that's a fact, and that's exactly what I said. It's not that it doesn't need a plot; that's just your imagination. If you want to be objective, be objective and don't make up all sorts of nonsense to blame for me. Plot is definitely important for creating atmosphere in games like this, but you shouldn't confuse atmosphere with what's actually expected. And when the plot is significantly greater than the expected content, it becomes meaningless. And the scenes themselves have become more boring, that was the point of my comment, not that they stopped appearing.
Find something else that's interesting? Ha, that's funny. If there were so many of those, that would be wonderful. But we have what we have, and we have very few high-quality porn games at the moment. And this game, despite all its flaws, is one of them (at least in terms of graphics). And the ones that are there have already been played through, and more than once. It's quite strange that you reason as if you don't understand this yourself. Are you sure you're playing the games you're defending?...
And by the way, your advice to get out of this thread didn't sound at all like "well-intentioned" advice. So please refrain from giving such "advice." And if I wanted to watch porn, I would watch porn, and I don't need anyone's "advice" for that, either, by the way.

I don’t know if you realize it, but you’re contradicting yourself right now. You come into the thread and complain that too many AVNs don’t offer enough content or spend way too much time on everything around it instead of just getting to the point: sex. You even say they could learn something from porn. Like you yourself said—porn doesn’t have a great script or story. And if it does, it’s usually complete bullshit and cliché to the extreme.

And University of Problems is exactly one of those AVNs that offers a larger plot: many love interests, lots of different dynamics, and character development. It has also clearly evolved visually. DreamNow didn’t just rest on what he created back in 2020 as a base. He has massively improved in terms of animation, which is why he eventually started remaking the game. Even though he paused that to focus on finishing the game first—which makes total sense. He didn’t pull the same move as many other developers who start remaking things mid-development and ignore new content. He tested it early on, looked at how it was received, and very quickly got the feedback: people want new content first. So he rightly decided to finish the game first.

That said, what he has learned visually is still being implemented in the new updates—and you can clearly see that. The scenes look so much better than the early ones. Much more detailed, much smoother animations, way more erotic overall. So saying it was more interesting in the beginning just isn’t true. The way he crafts scenes now is far superior to the early days.

So that argument is complete bullshit. Maybe the love interests don’t interest you anymore, I don’t know—but they’re still the same characters as before. The only real difference is that the dynamics have evolved. And in my opinion, that’s a good thing, because it keeps the tension alive.

But that’s exactly where the contradiction comes in. First you say these games should orient themselves more toward porn: more content, more sex. And then you say, no, you never said that. Instead, you claim the plot was more interesting at the beginning and now it isn’t, and that the scenes have gotten worse. That’s nonsense. First you argue A, then you argue B.

So maybe decide first what you actually want and what your opinion is supposed to be. Because right now, you’re just tying yourself into contradictions—and that makes any further discussion with you completely pointless. Honestly, I don’t even know who I’m talking to anymore, or whether you’re basically presenting two different people in one.

What is your problem? Attacking someone on a forum about a game where someone asks for better gameplay. Not everyone here is a basement dweller who only needs sex scenes to have a life. Show some respect.

You’re not really addressing anything that either I or he actually wrote, so I honestly don’t know what I’m supposed to reply to at this point. On top of that, it’s slowly drifting into off-topic territory, which is why I’m not going to continue this discussion any further. It just doesn’t make any sense. I’ve said what I wanted to say and I’ve clearly referred to the game itself. If you want to take this off-topic or play the white knight for someone, feel free to do so—that’s none of my concern.

To bring this back on topic: for me, University of Problems is one of the best AVNs on this site. I think it has improved massively on a visual level. It’s genuinely one of the few AVNs I’ve followed from the very beginning up to the current state, where I actually paid attention to the story and ended up liking most of the characters. It’s not my number one, but I do think that since 2020, DreamNow has been delivering very solid work with this AVN. Consistent updates, consistent improvements in quality—renders, animations, all of that.

The only area where I still see room for improvement—and that applies even to much bigger AVNs—is moans or sex sounds. Many developers seem hesitant to include them, even though there are some great examples that show how well and authentically they can be integrated. And for those who don’t like them at all, even when they’re done well, there’s always the option to mute them. That’s why I often wonder why so many AVNs shy away from this. Just take inspiration from the games that do it right.

That said, University of Problems remains, in my view, one of the most solid AVNs on the entire site—one that has delivered good content over the years without major dry spells.

McAfee won't allow this to be downloaded by any site. It keeps saying there is a threat to it. The threat is
ti!eab4e4b1eec7
I don't know what that is. Doesn't say it is a Trojan or anything.

I was able to restore it and it opens. But just wanted to warn if anyone has McAfee that it does this.
